This is called dead air. A clear violation of federal and NC law.

Verizon must answer their phone with a real person in less than 30 seconds according to the FCC. If you call back you get the option to press 1 for English or 2 for Spanish. You still don't know who this number is because verizon calls from different area code and numbers. Then you have the option to press 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,and etc.

Then you wait for 5-75 minutes trying to figure who this is. Then if you are lucky enough to get a live person. The Verizon employee has a bad attitude. File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau , The FCC, State Utility Commission , and the State Attorney Generals office.

After the FCC sent Verizon my complaint, Verizon called at 4:19, 4:48, 4:48, 5:18, 5:19, and 6:23pm to resolve the complaint.

The constant calling and bad attitude are just a few of their problems. Verizon left a message every time, but they will not answer their phone!

Monetary Loss: $250.
