At the moment, it's a toss-up between Sears & Verizon for the WORST company EVER! I want to describe my ordeal with VERIZON, but after repeated phone calls, I'm just too tired to go into detail.
I will in a subsequent post after I've rested a while. Let's just say, if you're planning on getting service connected through them, you'd better expect to wait a long, long time. I spent from 11:10 through 4:40 on the phone with them today to connect my service. At the end, I finally spoke to a Supervisor and he promised to call me back within the hour........that was almost 2 hrs ago.
I'm not holding my breath at this stage. I say, bring back regulations. I know some people are opposed to that, I usually don't like the idea of Government regulation, but when these companies are so out of control and abuse the public the way they do, then I think they need some sort of regulation.
The PSC was pretty effective at one time, now, they've been hamstrung and they're useless.
