Since Verizon has taken over Alltel I have contacted them numerous times to complain about additional charges. I was charged 2 months in a row for "data" even tho I BLOCKED data usage.
I called the next month to dispute a texting charge, which I had previously blocked. Last month I called to cancel one of my 3 phone lines and was told it couldn't be cancelled before Dec. 18th without a penalty. I asked to cancel it on that date and was told, "I'll make a note of it on your acct. but call back then to confirm it was cancelled."
I called back today, Dec. 20th, and was told the "billing cycle" began Dec. 16th and I would have to pay for the rest of the month because they can't cancel a line "on demand"!! Verizon has ripped me off repeatedly!!
