Verizon - Christopher Tyson

4.8
Details
Christopher was a detailed Sales Representative at the Lee Blvd Fairfax VA location. Ge did not rush me, answered all my questions, transferred my files and apps, and thought me how to play with my cell new phone. He was pleasant and knowledgeable and made the sale stress free. Great asset for that location.

Vultures at Verizon in Venice

My friend's husband who is 84 years old went in to Verizon because his old phone had died. He has dementia but most would not know. This man was told by the salesperson he "needed" an Apple I-phone 10 at the bargain price of $1100. What 84yr old man needs a top of the line phone? He doesn't stream, he doesn't text, he doesn't buy on-line& doesn't send emails. That salesperson was a vulture who took advantage of a very nice man who didn't understand what he was buying. Unfortunately his wife was out of town & thought people were watching out for him. When she got home she felt she couldn't complain as the contract was over 72 hours old. The woman is 85 years old & was intimidated.

Verizon - Abusive salesperson

A Fios representative came to my door and claimed to be someone who worked on the phone lines. When I opened the door and she started a sales pitch, I said I was satisfied with Optimum and started to close the door. She then said, “Well, good luck with that, *** I couldn’t get through on amy numbers to file a complaint, but this woman should lose her job, and I would NEVER consider switching to Fios now.

Nothing Verizon does or does not do surprises me.

The retail outlets often claim disassociation with the parent company in the ultimate bait-and-switch scheme.

And of course, ALWAYS try to "upgrade" (i.e. increase cost) of your program.

I get annoyed every month when my wife's bill is due. ( I don't even have a cell phone at all and get along just fine without it, like I have since 1956.)

Sales guy told me numerous times i was NOT gonna be on a plan. He talked me into the tablet they had on sale as well as verizons "Hummer" which sucks. When switching to at&t & cancelling verizon, the verizon guy in the store (a different one this time and a year later,) even told me "youre not on a plan, so youll only owe one more monthly pmt and be done." Those asswipes continued auto debiting my acct to the tune of over $600, a manager i phoned to complain and get reimbursed, told me she'd cancel everything and reimburse me, but didn't and now their collection agency is calling me. I told collection agency that if im not reimbursed, theyll have a lawsuit on their hands, another one. Verizon is full of dishonest, lying jerks.

Verizon - Customer Service Lost/Confused

1.9
Details
After being with Verizon for many years I have never had a bad experience with Verizon until today. Customer Service Representative Yolanda seem to not be aware of Verizon procedures. When asked to be switch to someone who would know she put me on hold. Yolanda returned to the phone stating that her supervisor was on the phone and that he would be with me as soon as he was done. This was completely understandable and I had no problem waiting. However, when Yolanda told me that he was now available but she had to search for his number in order to switch me was what baffled me. As she walked me through the process of searching for his number I assumed that either she lacked proper training or maybe she had not receive training at all. Then when her supervisor Mr. Wright came on the line he acted as if my services did not matter. I believe the workers need more training. Customers are the reason workers are needed and if a business wants to continue to grow then at least the employees could get better training.

Horrific experience at verizon wireless

On October 18, 2014. My husband and I purchased our iPhone 6 from Verizon. They were ordered because the store did not have them in stock. On October 25, 2014 my phone arrived, I went to the store to make the switch for T-Mobile to Verizon. I also purchased a warranty for lost or stolen for an extra amount of money. Everything went fine. I was happy with my new phone and the service. On March 24, 2015. I lost my phone. I called the Verizon’s 800 number for customer service to make the claim; however, I was informed that I have never purchased the warranty. I was told that I had to pay $800 for a new phone because I did not have any warranty. I was advised to call eSecuritel (Warranty Company) to double check on the warranty. On March 24, 2015. I called eSecuritel to ask for my phone warranty. I was told again that I did not have any phone warranty that I have to purchase a new phone at regular price. On March 25, 2015 I made the decision to purchase another phone with a different carrier because that was the only way not to pay for the whole price of the phone. I was even willing to pay the $350 early termination fee from Verizon. (I had no choice). On April 1, 2015. I was able to find my original sales receipt and to my surprise, the Verizon’s sales representative (Amber Killer) had made a mistake on my bill. She typed the wrong phone number for my warranty. That’s why Verizon and eSecuritel were never able to find warranty under my phone number. On April 1,2015. I went to the store to make the complaint but I was in shock by the assistant manager response. 1. He said I should have never called the Verizon 800 number because they don’t know what is going on in the stores. 2. I was yelled and treated as if I was *** by calling the 800 number. He repeatedly said that I was wrong for calling the 800 number. 3. He did not acknowledge the mistake made by Amber. Instead he became defensive and started an argument with me saying that he was “done talking to me”. He also said that Amber just made a small mistake because probably she was busy. 4. There were other sales representatives present in the store at that moment. They started laughing and making jokes about my complaint. The more the assistant manager yelled the more they laugh. 5. I left the store so distressed and emotionally disturbed for what just had happened to me. I still cannot believe how unfairly and mistreated I was. This type of behavior from people who is supposed to be helping others should not be acceptable. I am a Veteran of war who survived the Iraqi Freedom Operation. I have proudly served the United States Army, I was never treated like this. Not even during war times.
