Leaving Verizon after 10 years

We had constant trouble with Verizon local store in Irving Texas. The people on store are rude and very insulting. I had a LG G3 phone that started showing "no sim Card" after the recent update. The representative told me that the phone was bad and wanted me to buy a new phone for full price. He was rude and told me that has 12 years of experience. He did not even make an attempt to get an advise from the technician. I went to other store and they switched my sim card to an older phone. A local guy in a mall was able to fix the problem in 5 minutes. I guess it is time to move on to Sprint. Verizon does not care for loyal customers.

Yes. They do suck..they charged.

Me 150.00 for. Movies that were. Previewed..whole movie charge, were not watched..told. This.

I have had so many issues with Verizon I don't even know where to start. From signal to customer service to billing, and most recently equipment. My new droid turbo 2 no longer has sound and after an hour of troubleshooting still no sound. The representative says, well we will have to issue you a new phone, oh wait we can't until your bill is paid!!!??? This is a manufacture warranty and you can't issue me a new phone!!!!? You want me to pay full pop on my bill but receive half service!!??? Verizon is a horrible company who charges more than they say and never gives a straight answer!!!! I will be moving to another company shortly!!!

Verizon in Brooklyn, New York - Told to change my phone number to resolve an issue

First, the account is in my wife's name, Randy Bolton. I first had a service issue, no dial tone, on May 3, reported on May 6, and still not resolved. I was also advised on May 12, that changing my phone number would resolve the issue which it did not, and then I was told later that day by Tech support that changing a phone number will NEVER resolve any issue. Now they are unwilling/unable to give me back my original number even though it was one of their reps, Jean, who told me to do this I want my old telephone number restored

Verizon in Ridgeland, Mississippi - Run around on credit for someone with no credit issues

I am a father setting up a Verizon account for my daughter graduating from medical school. I understand she has no substantial credit built up when I filed the application. She has a totally clean credit rating, just has never had a loan. So I go through the effort to set up a phone in her name (she has had one for 6 years in my name) with Verizon. The said I needed to provide a copy of the DL and SS card for the credit department. So I provided that information. two weeks went by with no response. We called in and they said the paperwork had not been sent in. Sent them the confirm email and then "oh yeah here it is..." They said great just go back and sign in to complete your order as it has been approved. Well it had been so long, we could not sign back in, so we called the only number we had (with a reference number) to get our "sign in" set back up so we could finish the order since we had been approved. The rep said great - all we need now is a $400 deposit to establish service! We did I spend three week and fax them sensitive documents for them to then request a $400 cash deposit? That is not being "approved" for anything. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. We took our business to AT&T.
