Verizon sold me on adding a 2nd data phone to my 3 phone plan by saying it would only cost $10/month more.Seems the rep didn't understand that the cost of the non-data phone would go up $20/month, making the total $30/month more.

Or, the rep simply lied. I didn't find out about this until I got the first bill, after I had purchased the new data phone and disposed of the old flip phone. Verizon refuses to honor the communicated plan and I cannot go back to the old plan since I no longer have the old phone. Net, Verizon is sticking me with their error.

That's poor customer service.I will have to tell my mom that she can no longer have her cell phone since I'm going to have to cancel that line.

Monetary Loss: $240.
