Verizon sold me on adding a 2nd data phone to my 3 phone plan by saying it would only cost $10/month more. Seems the rep didn't understand that the cost of the non-data phone would go up $20/month, making the total $30/month more.

Or, the rep simply lied. I didn't find out about this until I got the first bill, after I had purchased the new data phone and disposed of the old flip phone. Verizon refuses to honor the communicated plan and I cannot go back to the old plan since I no longer have the old phone. Net, Verizon is sticking me with their error.

That's poor customer service. I will have to tell my mom that she can no longer have her cell phone since I'm going to have to cancel that line.

Monetary Loss: $240.
