On June 16th,2019 we went to Verizon store located at “3963 Lavista Road, Tucker, GA 30084” to add a new line to our existing plan and I bought a ‘Motorola G7’ phone, sealed in the box, for the new line. The representative ‘Shazi’ attended us. After coming home, the...

I seen an ad on their website, buy an iPhone 8 get it for 50% off, I called and the rep informed me that my iPhone was obsolete and nobody wants it for a trade in, but he also informed me that to get this deal I needed to trade in an iPhone 8 or plus or iPhone 10 to...

My nightmare started Dec 4, 2017 when I foolishly decided to switch phone service and I was trusting enough to believe the Verizon salesman in Port Orange, FL that I would get an LG K20 phone for $1 per month promotion if I kept the phone and service for 24 months. The...

Verizon renigged on agreement to pay comcast last bill.

2.2
Details
A verizon rep knocked on our door offering the very service and price that I would be looking for when my comcast contract was up in three months. He then closed by offering to buy out my Comcast contract (up to $500). "Just request your last bill from Comcast and forward it to us and we will write you a check for the amount." Fast forward 40 days. I have my final bill in hand and after 4 hours of searching and calling I get Verizon rep on the phone that can help. "Oh no sir, We only pay 'Early Termination Fees'. We have never and will never pay anyone's bill" (long story omitted) And that is their final position.

Verizon - They lied to me -3 times!

When I bought new cell phone I was offered to receive 5G for the same price as 2G. I was happy. A month goes by, and only 2G. I went back to the store. Same story, no worries, change has been made. A month goes by and I still have 2G. Went back to store and I was promised change was made. Yes it was, I now I have 5G -but I have to pay for those 5G!! Not what I was offered -2G for the price of 5G. I called the store the same night to ask what happened. The manager (Matt at the Smithfield RI store) tells me he will call me back to figure out what happened -he never called back. HORRIBLE COUSTUMER SERVICE!!!

Verizon Not Honoring Offer

I have had Verizon FIOS and Internet for several years. In 2015 I received a promotion to get the Entertainment Package at no charge in exchange for a 2 year agreement. I checked with the chat feature in January 2017 to find out what would be offered for another 2 year agreement. The free entertainment package would expire on Feb 3, 2017. Through the agent via chat, I was offered the same package as my existing package for only a couple of dollars more. I made it very clear in the chat (which I have the entire transcript) what the agent was offering and the price. I did received an email with the details and accepted. When I went to pay my bill on March 3rd, the bill was not $120.43, as quoted in the chat and the email, but $175. I called Verizon, waited on hold for 40 minutes, and talked to a rep who basically told me the offer was not vaild and I did not read the email correctly. I do have a copy of the email. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor. The supervisor was rude and condescending. After explaining my position and going over the chat transcripts and email, he told me it didn't matter what the agent wrote or promised in the chat session and I read, or didn't understand the email, and that I owed the money and there was nothing he would do. I told him as far as I am concerned Verizon is in breach of contract. I asked for his name and he would not give me his last name, employee number or any contact information. I asked if I could go to a store and talk to someone in person and he said I could. I found out, after going to a store, that was closed but listed on the website, finding another store where the "FIOS person" was not in yet, even though he was scheduled. I then called another store and was told they do not have any access to billing and only sign up new service. I called Verizon again and spoke to an agent and a supervisor. Both were very professional and understanding, but held the same position that I was not due the promotion that was offered. They did adjust my bill, part reduced for this month and part for next month, a total of about $50., but they took away the entertainment package that was promised as part of the offer. If I were to break my agreement with Verizon and terminate my service, I would be charged a substantial termination fee. Apparently, if Verizon breaks their agreement, the consumer suffers and there is very little recourse. It's unfortunate that they treat their customers with so little respect.

Verizon - Deal Review from Long Beach, California

This is the review I posted on Yelp after getting off the phone with one of your customer representatives today 11/4/15 Pacific Coast Standard time 6:20pm Verizon Fios is the worst service for Internet and cable of all time. I've used many providers before and was lured by Verizon Fios sign on deals. After the deal was over I've been gouged with high rates. Every time they raised my rates I've had call them to discuss. To call them is about as fun as ripping your eyes out. The service is horrible. You have to go through many steps to talk to someone then they hang up on you or send you to someone else if they can't help you, which is always and then you have to re-explain everything all over again. They'll offer you a discount that is nowhere near your original agreed price then say you'll have to sign a two year contract to get that agreed price that will only last 6 months. Meanwhile you're locked into that 2 year contract where they can gouge you for early release penalties and continue to raise their rates as they always do. I seriously urge EVERYONE NEVER USE VERIZON FIOS!!! They're thieves, liars, and cheats!!! And their service sucks so bad. The disruptions are endless, the cutting on and out. I've been stuck with old poor equipment that wouldn't record anything and when I called them they treated me like it was my fault every single time. The internet cuts out constantly. The worst. I can't stress it enough! Everything about Verizon Fios is the worst, form the service they provide, the higher gouging rates, and their employees who obviously do not care to be there. If their own employees do not care about Verizon or their customers, why should you? EVERYONE NEVER USE VERIZON FIOS!! Anthony Cruz antcruz68@gmail.com

Verizon - Deal Review from Manteo, North Carolina

I am not one to complain. I'm naturally optimistic. However, I have a moral obligation to notify the public of how terrible service has been so far with Verizon Fios. I had just moved and got a promo deal from Verizon to bundle and save. I called Verizon to get the service, who informed me that Fios would contact me. After waiting days, I called the Fios number on the ad, but after an hour wait to speak with someone, they said it wasn't any such deal. So, I took the promo paper to the store. Unfortunately, they couldn't hook my account up until the previous customer unhooked their fios or until I gave them information from the previous customer. I tried to tell the employee that I had moved into the old customers place--I don't know them. The next week I received mail with the old customers name, so I went back, but the Fios guy at Verizon doesn't work after 3. So I went back to the phone for an hour and finally ordered the service. This employee reported that I would receive $250 back and a $400 credit towards Verizon services if I got a TV/internet/phone package for two years. I took the bait. She informed me that the equipment is being mailed and the technician will be at my house on 9/3 between 11 & 2 to install my system. At 2 on 9/3 I contact Fios to file a complaint. The employee told me (after a half-hour) that he couldn't find an answer why they weren't there, but took my number and promised a return phone call by 6pm. My wife took off of work to be there for the install & we never got a return call. This continued for phone call to phone call. Finally, several managers later, I'm told that the landlord must be notified (reportedly scheduled for tomorrow) to change services from the old customer to me. Weeks wasted and still not resolved, I believe this was a poor choice for Internet service with such a problem riddled organization. Can anyone help me here?
