Recently I bought my husband an HDTV for his birthday. I picked out the Primo HD package (the lowest). He decided he would be happier with the Extreme (mid grade) package. When I turned in my old box, I mentioned that I wanted the upgrade. They put it through on the computer (or so I thought).

We never got the additional channels. Every time I contacted Verizon's 1-800 number I got either a different excuse, or another broken promise, including the following:

1. The request is still pending. (Huh????)

2. You should have your new channels within the hour.

3. Your lineup is scheduled to change on the 22nd. (it is now the 24th and we STILL don't have our channels.

This is absurd.
