Awhile ago, we reviewed our landline/internet combo bill from Verizon and were shocked at being charged for an overseas "service". We called Verizon and got rid of it, also we got rid of the long distance calling plan monthly charge.

Not long after, we received a letter from Verizon that we would be charged a fee for not having a long distance calling plan and, further down the road, we are now being charged a fee for not making any long distance calls.

We are going to complain to the the FCC for this type of cramming (Verizon sez it's perfectly legal, oh yeah?

Won't be for long).

BTW, you can't complain on the Verizon website as they will "delete" your inquiry or complaint if it's considered inflammatory. Apparently this is.
