Not resolved

I recently moved so I wanted a new local number and the process worked fine. Cut to my next bill and I discovered some questionable accounting.

They cancelled my old contract and started an identical one under my new number.

Fine so far but for some reason they started out with a three day billing period.

I have a 450 minute agreement and usually don't use much but instead of carrying forward from the previous contract they just gave me 44 minutes for the three days. Since I had just moved I was getting a lot of things set up and ended up spending a lot of time with my cable/internet provider (another fantastic customer service story) and ended up with $20 in overage charges.

Guess when I buy my next phone I'll be looking elsewhere.
