Verizon - Billing, have proof of double billing yet no help

I have been with verizon for about 10 years I co signed on a phone for my son who ended up not paying the bill. I did not know this and went in to upgrade our phones and are told we owe them money. I was surprised and asked why they did not send me anything and they said they sent them to him and never sent anything to me concerning the money owed. So they offered me a settlement amount of 179.00 which I paid, this was in 2014. Go in to store to upgrade a phone and add another line and they tell me I owe this bill again. If I just pay it in order to bring home my sons Christmas gift they can get it applied to my account when it is settled. I paid the money directly to the billing/ credit department and this time it is 276.00. I have a receipt, bank statement to prove they payment of this again. I am told not to worry it is all cleared up now. Forward to this may and my husband goes in to get me a watch for mothers day. They tell him we had a past balance due plus interest in the amount of 427.00 which he pays even though we do not owe it. I call the store and they tell me I have to call another number. I have every document there is to prove this bill was paid and they are doing nothing. I have called over 20 times and today one lady tells me they never took my money and that in fact the check bounced. OMG are you kidding me ? So here I am printing out the check with the cleared number to prove they took the money. I have tried to be nice and no one is doing their job and no one is fixing this and refunding me the money they took. I had one lady today who was rude, and then lied to me about everything and only made matters worse. I am sick and tired of being on the phone for hours out of my life when these incompetent people cannot fix what they did wrong. I will be filing in small claims this week. I am tired of them jacking me around. We have proof the bill was paid, we have receipts, statements, and confirmation numbers. This is unacceptable and I will leave this co as soon as I can and I want everyone to know exactly how they screw customers over.

I have been a customer of Verizon for numerous years and was Grandfathered into the 2 year contract with the phone upgrade. Overnight and without warning they got rid of the contracts and are forcing people to pay for the phone in installments. And the upgrade fee also...

This is bull i had a upgrade and this guy from the verizon store said i can get a v5 or a v10 and all i have to pay is tax... So i paid for tax and he also metioned i can get a $100 gift card he helped me send customer service the recipet and other documents i had to give them a month latet i get a call that i dont get $100 gift card and that i have to pay for the pgone $500. Im so pissed that i cant even cancel my contract or anything because i have to pay for termination fee when,my phone doesnt even work it turns the phone off after 15% and doesnt want to turn on until 2 days and the employee there tells me its my fault and they cant do anything about it. Ive had so much bad experience with verizon and ive had verizon since 2008....thought loyalty to customers would happen and they would help me out. Yea right i hate verizon and i cant wait till my contract is over or cant wait till i can get the money for termination fee. I hate you verizon I hate you employee from summit lakes next to panera you guys suck

Verizon - Hidden Fees

While changing phones I knew there would be an upgrade fee for that transaction. However, while doing this the person waiting on me said I was due for a house phone piece of equipment for 99 cents. I ask 3 times if "Are you sure it is one time 99 cents." Answer was " oh yes we are sure." Turns out when I signed for my cell phone 40 dollar upgrade they tagged on another 40 dollars for the 99 cent equipment upgrade. I can take the 99 cent piece of equipment back but I will have to pay a 35 dollar restocking fee. I will be changing phone companies. Please check for hidden fees EVERY MONTH.

Verizon - Phone upgrade

I had the worst retail experience of my 52 years. I pray I never have to return to the Centerville, Oh location. The employees did not care that I had to spend a 1 1/5 just to get a new phone. The tablets were terrible and I was informed I was interrupting their coffee run. I have been a customer for over 25 years, you think that they may respect your time as a paying customer. Can't imagine how much I have spent over 25 years. Verizon you have a lot to learn about customer retention. I will be switching suppliers, what a shame after 25 plus years as a customer.

Verizon - $200 trade in credit not given

upgraded phone. was promised a $200 trade in credit, my phone is undamaged and 100% working. the trade in was actually $50.00. this information took 5 phone calls of 30 minutes to 1 hour. I also tried to go twice to the store but was too busy. I went two more times. they said my new phone was not there. I returned again a week later, they said it still wasn't there. It was in fact there and they found it after looking again. i waited and waited for a email confirmation code that never came. final call...well i am still holding and holding to talk to a supervisor. not happy at all. the individual customer service agents were very nice and did what they could but do not have enough power to actually solve the problem. I have been a good customer for many years, they used to have great customer service. what happened? unfortunately, will be researching new providers. this has wasted hours of my time. Verizon needs to pay me for my time.

Verizon - No cell signal

Customer since 2007. Horrible service. Paid bills on time. Complained about first Galaxy Samsung phone, as had to go to my drive-way to get a signal. (Others in my home have no problem getting signal.) I was asked to "upgrade" to Galaxy ll. Did. Same problem. Verizon offered a simple solution; "purchase an antenna from us. This connects to the roof on your home. This would be 350.00 US.") I lived with no-reception, as I am already spending a monthly fee for service which to suppose to provide a some-what "okay" signal.... I contacted their customer service again... No help.. My phone went totally out, a couple days ago.. I visited my Verizon-phone-store, hoping they would let me upgrade. I am 6 weeks short of ending my contract- I just asked to get a different phone, paying the new contract fee, and full-fill another 2 year agreement. Nada...... I asked to speak to the manager who talked though me like I was a glass of water.... Never did he listen to my concerns, but looked at my account again and voiced that I had been in good standing and had concerns before.. I asked what he could do.. Nada. Is this any customer service..!?? I informed him, like I did to prior customer service reps that my contract will not be re-instated. -Done with Verizon. Since switched to US Cell and more than happy with their customer service.

Verizon Home Phone Rip Off

While I was out of town a Verizon salesman convinced my wife we could save a ton of money by changing our land lines to Verizon Home Phone Boxes. When I returned from my trip I found two phones and was told we need to move our current land line numbers to these new phones.Because cell phones do not work in our area I was very suspicious. I called Verizon before switching the numbers and the woman had me test them. Of course the phones did not work contrary to what the salesman had assured my wife. No harm no foul, she sent us return tags and we sent them back within the 14-day trial period. All was fine untill they tried to bill us $150. The initial claim was we had returned the phones but still needed to pay the $20 per month per phone service plan even though we had no phones. Then a supervisor reduced it to $75 restocking charge for phones that did not work. Her excuse was they did not know they wouldn't work. Of course my reply was, why did you sell them to my wife then? My finally offer was, install a much needed tower so we can get service and I will keep the phones. Her final offer was a $35 restocking charge. As soon as I can dump Verizon they are gone. I was with Bell before Verizon merged with them. We will soon be ending a 25-year relationship over $35 and poor customer service.
