I switched from DSL to FIOS in September of 2011 - but still continued to get DSL bills. It took me a month or so to realize I was getting billed (separately) for both DSL and FIOS.
Four three months now I have had conversations with customer service agents that the DSL account is closed but I still have a bill - WHY? Every month they agree and zero it out - till I get the next bill! Now they say it's not a bill but an early termination fee - when I switched to another of their services? I think NOT.
Can't talk to a supervisor or manager, they won't let you.
But once again, I am assured that the fee has been taken off and I will get a zero bill. Until next month..............
