Verizon - Charged for services not ordered and denied promotion without warning.

I added Fios TV to my bundle in June. For the first time muyy September bill included $93 in charges for movies and series purchased. I had neither ordered nor watched any such programming. I spoke with 4 different customer service representatives and could not convince any that I had been incorrectly charged. I was definitely cheated and seem to have no recourse. Also, when I joined FIOS it was with an offer of a 1 year renewal on my Amazon Prime membership. I was never notified that it expired in July and I could no longer take advantage of the offer. Again, no recourse available. Worst customer service ever, though the individuals were polite.

Details
Joined Verizon bundle. Within the first four months had seven problems required remote tech service and three on-site repairs. TV locked up. Could not turn off. Had to unplug Tv. in order to turn off. Lost dial tone on land line phone for two days. Lost all access to internet on computer. Informed that the wiring they had installed was loose. Repaired. Then next visit they replaced the entire box they installed. Problems continue. They offered $50.00 refund but I do not need a refund. I NEED RELIABLE SERVICE.

I paid Verizon $90/mo for a Landline and Basic Internet monthly. I switched to Spectrum and I pay $35/mo. The Rep said that there was a mistake and asked me "Doesn't that sound too good to be true?" He said that Spectrum was charging $50/mo just for the internet. LYING AND LYING FOR 15 STRAIGT YEARS. I overpaid Verizon $10,000 over 15 years. They take advantage of the elderly, disabled and misinformed and LIED TO CUSTOMERS LIKE ME. I told Verizon I wanted my bill slashed by $40/mo but they said all they could do was give me a deal of $95/mo; $5 more than the current bill!!!! I WANT AS MANY PEOPLE TO KNOW THIS AS POSSIBLE. customer service - there is none. You can never ever talk to a live human being 24/7 every day.

I have resisted changing back to Verizon for years after bad experience last time I used them. They been saying how better they have become and so finally I decide to switch since Cox was going higher each year. I was told by their representative that after installation, the first bill would be 45 days later. 19 Apr was install and I see first bill online is 14 May, shortest 45 days I have ever seen. After chatting online with on line representative which could not help, I called them yesterday. The operator of course could do nothing but offer another package. The Verizon web site is sort of useless in filing a complaint, keeps have errors and does not run. I am happy with install and speed, just sort frustrated and believe that used deceptive practice to get me to change. I guess I should of followed my gut and got rid of them both which i will do in couple years when this rate runs out.

Verizon customers - watch out for int'l call trap

My best friend lives in NZ and we call each other once in a while. Normally, I use a phone card to call her. All I need to do is dial a local number and then dial her phone number. I was shocked when I received an alert that my Verizon bill was $377++ when my monthly bill is only $80++ for internet and landline. When I looked at the bill online, it showed an international call for $247.94 for a 49 minute call to NZ. Granted that it was my mistake not to dial the phone card local number, but who charges $5.06/minute to NZ when calling card companies only charge a penny or two per minute? This is highway robbery. I spoke to representatives from Verizon and all they could say was "it was a valid charge." I asked where I could find a list of int'l charges if you didn't have int'l plan but they couldn't tell me. Moral of the story, use viber, messenger, what'sApp or Skype for international calls.

The same thing happened to us we are still waiting for our refund of $250 that they claimed they deposited on 1/19/2017 which is not true! And when you speak to them it's a all day affair!

Back and forth with different representatives that keep transferring you and placing the blame... really messed up!
