Cancelled my Fios and was owed some money. They sent me a debit card not a check. call the # and try the web address to try to get a check. website seems to be bogus and phone # gets you nothing. forcing you to activate the card. Now they pump you for more information about you. SCAM!!

Two days of attempting to get hold of someone in customer service. No answer. Received a Text this morning and it said would reach out to me. That did not happen. So much for your chat line that no one chats with you on. Now waiting for a so call back. They said 10 minutes. It is now 12 minutes and counting.

Verizon customer service is the worst . The numbers they give you do not work or your on hold for hours .

The chats are script controlled and always tell me to go to a store evee .

They charge a fortune and never give a refund . Awful business

Many are dropping Verizon FIOS. I have had them for 5 years.

The first year they treat you like royalty. The gift card they give you as a "free gift" is not free. Review every time they raised your bill while you were under contract. Oh the equipment is not under contract they tell you so that is where they keep raising your bill.

But no one tells you that when you sign up. The bs three month free HBO or whatever. Not free. If you don't get it removed from your bill they start charging you.

They get you with all these offers for "free" that last for 3 months or 6 months or whatever and then they start charging you when you forget to remove the service which is exactly what they anticipated. Now how many with bill pay just don't look at their bill every month and Verizon knows this. I'm done with them. My contract ends in October and I'm gone.

As are many others I have spoken with. Verizon sucks.

Instead of signing a contract with Verizon, one should go the route of prepaid cellular. No contracts, fewer headaches and a lot of saved money!

Just type cellular service in my area and use the interactive maps that you will find on these sites to find who has the best service in your area. All the prepaid services use one of the four big company towers. If you have Verizon now, then think about trying Total Wireless prepaid. For about $60 (taxes included) a month you get the Verizon network and 25 GB data and no overages, just your speed is reduced from 4G to 2G.

One site you should take a look at is called Clarkdeals. He is a consumer helper in getting the customer the best deals on many products and services.

Verizon in Bellingham, Washington - 5 Hard Checks done on the same day

Just to let you know that VeriZon in Bellingham WA ran 5 credit checks on the same day and I believe it was deliberate or incompetence or both ..Contacted Head Office to get that resolve and nothing happened. Be aware if you deal with Verizon

Verizon in Hopewell, Virginia - REWARDS

Verizon's REWARD program only rewards Verizon. My 400 points are now lost as the program closes 5/30. This program doesn't generate any good will, added value or good customer service but rather thumbs its nose at Verizon customers. The pricing could be lowered to reflect the true cost of doing business, but it is beholden only to stockholders and management.

Verizon Fraud Department

I work for an enterprise company with a very large number of Verizon cellular devices on our account. Recently the fraud department has disabled our corporate portal access due to "questionable" orders. The fraud system automatically suspends service for some unknown reason. The mental midgets in the fraud department are not able to say what in the order caused our account to get locked out. Fraud prevention is supposed to be a positive service but Verizon fraud only wastes your time with unnecessary and useless service interruptions. If your business is considering entering into a long term contract, consider your alternatives. AT&T and Verizon have now become so big that they just do not care about the massive inconveniences that they cause with all of their bureaucratic BS.
