Yes I too have been baited and switched by Verizon. I was quoted one amount by door to door rep. Then my first month's bill arrived it was over $200!!!! I called and canceled service immediately! I sent them a payment for quoted amount $90 yet I still have a negative mark on my credit report thanks to the dishonest and crooked dealings of Verizon!!!

Verizon pulled and typical car sales man bait and switch on long time customer. Worst, they blamed it on the phone carrier. With a family plan of 7, it is unacceptable. Store manager was too worried about money rather then doing the right thing.

I am getting out of Verizon. AOL e-mail screen design back to the 80s, pathetic. You guys at the design table think that we are in the middle are really pathetic and very sad for the American enterprise philosophy. I don't wont to come close to understand your way of handling business in our days, it's really a shame. When the whole structure collapses I will lough at your expense.... After 2 weeks of attempting to have a tech install our internet and phone and having 3 different no shows from the technician i cancelled my service. They were quick to take the 250$ deposit out of my account, but not so quick to follow thru with my service. The worst experience i have ever had. I will tell everyone who will listen about this.

I made an appointment to have FiOS connected at my new apartment. No one showed up and I spent a combined 2.5 hours on the phone trying to figure out what was going on and get the issue resolved. They said they couldn't connect me because the old tenant hadn't disconnected their internet. The first person I spoke to said I could email a copy of my lease to override this. The second person said this was not possible and I would just have to wait.... Read more

I am one more frustrated customer that was promise a 300 visa gift card and now they are telling me I do not qualify for it. Customer service only keeps saying that because I'm getting a better discount I do not get the gift card. False promotion. Scam just to make customer switch or sign up then VERIZON DOES NOT OR WILL NOT GIVE A GIFT CARD.

When I turned off my Fios service after three months of trying to get them to reduce my bill by changing my home plan which they never did i told them to cut it off. This was on May 28th and this is when the harassment begins; first the continued phone calls asking me to remain a Verizon customer, second the equipment return issue, third emails, and fourth mail. Ordered Verizon and was told someone will come by and it been three days! Verizon kelp scheduling the day but no one came to set up our services.

I recently had to travel to Germany for 6 days after my mother’s passing. Right before the trip, I added Verizon’s Global Data plan ($25 per 100 Mb). I went from Time Warner to Verizon as I was getting over billed each month and was fed up. I was promised by Verizon's sales rep my monthly bill would be $120 (give or take a few bucks). I even have that on my contract. The first few months were ok then it jumped to $135, then $148, then $159 and finally $326!
