Service help

My phone stopped allowing me to make or receive calls and I was trying to determine what was happening. Since I couldn't use my phone I used another phone. Since it was not connected to Verizon, they wouldn't take the call. So, needless to say, nothing was accomplished and I am still without a phone.

Dsl service

All through my phone call with Verizon I was told that I qualify for service then I was told I have pay $250 down to get it and that I would have to wait one whole damn year to get that money back. And that didn't include installation or equipment. I am without wifi now because of it. What damn scam company.

Sales, family plan

Sooooo long to speak to someone. Like SERIOUSLY!? 20-30 minutes. Half of them I can barely understand due to echos, high pitch sounds in the background. Than disconnected. Now I gotta wait ANOTHER!! 20-30 to speak to someone. Lime ARRRRR!!!! CMON FIX THIS Verizon.

Totally dissatisfied with the 5 transfers across 3 countries as this is totally unacceptable I like to talk to a person not an AI as a 24+ year customer I expect better service

Unethical Practices

CS does not explain consequences of making payment arrangements to pay for equipment. I had a large equipment balance-my kids stole phones from me left w/$1300 balance to pay. Made payment arrangements and was making payments every 2 weeks and kept on schedule. After after 4 months, they demand full payment of balance w/no warning. Won't allow arrangements, then hang up on you several times. You O ND

apology & poor customer service and no explanation given at anytime that large balance would be due suddenly.Rude Financial Services Dept that hangs up on you several time. When my contract is over,I will be leaving Verizon, if not sooner.

Customer Service/Billing

After much receiving the run around after countless hours on the phone trying to obtain a shared data plan, we decided to go with another carrier. Verizon billed us for the upcoming month. We were shocked but Verizon would do nothing about it. We paid for a service we never received.

Autopay

I wanted to set up autopay. Went to my Verizon, entered password, couldn't remember answer to security question. Now they want me to change my password@#$. Can't get to customer service, chat got cut off, I've been at this for an hour and a half! Don't you want my money???

Bill almost 60 days after bill paid in full and discontinued service

Got a bill for the month of September when I discontinued service at the end of July and paid bill in full the day of. I have tried to talk to a representative with Verizon and all you get is put on hold for 20 to 30 minutes at a time and then the person can't help you because you are not a Verizon customer so they want you to log in and start an account which is crap. All I wanted to know is why I was sent a bill for a service that was canceled close to 2 months ago. This is exactly why I changed carriers they don't care.

Chat persons

Instead of answering questions, Verizons chat persons apparently now subcontracted to companies located in India try to sell upgraded plans and equipment to current or future customers. In the process, they offer incentives without divulging the total costs involved.

User's recommendation: Get complete cost details, the date of the chat , order # , and name of chat person.
