Verizon's billing and plan practices need to be investigated for ghost charges. If you're not in the habit of examining your bill every month, make sure you keep a close eye on this company. They will initiate 'free' services and then start charging you without any notification.

I just had $5.99 for each of two of my lines removed from my bill this month. I'm fighting to get refunded for the mysteriously appearing 'Verizon Cloud charges' that have been hitting two of my lines, which have been happening for months now since I switched my plan to save money each month. I never signed up for this service. The representative tells me it's a free service for a month with a plan switch, then there are monthly charges. This was never disclosed to me and Verizon initiated the charges on their own. Their billing practices are fraudulent and I'm letting them know I'll file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission if these fees are not reimbursed. I've had to call Verizon several times now about errors in billing. I'm tired of it and am looking for a new wireless provider.

I recommend going with a more reputable company. Verizon does not uphold legal billing practices. Beware.

I need to switch to Tracfone due to only using my phone occasionally and the price would be ten dollars a month. I was told I had to go to a local store & show my ID.

I did that yesterday but was told I need to go to a corporate store 20 or 30 miles away. Look , I'm eighty & use a cane or walker, when needed. Can I FAX my ID to verify my identity and get an authorization no. to keep my present phone number.

I started having issues with my network connection and reliability about 5 months ago. They haven't done anything to help me resolve the issue, but of course they continue to charge me the normal amount.

I thought at first that there were a few customer service agents who just weren't trained very well. However, its next to impossible to get a supervisor when you have issues. I got in touch with Executive Relations who has completely eroded any trust or good will that I had remaining for this company. They have refused to mail me a sim card or install an eSim.

They would rather push me to drive to the store. Well jokes on them because T-Mobile is closer and they want my business.

Verizon Wireless eliminates unlimited texts that I pay for in my plan.

My Verizon Wireless plan has always included unlimited texts in its price. Now, Verizon is discontinuing texting.

They tell me to use Google Messenger, which is fine, except Google's texts use my Verizon data. If Verizon takes away my unlimited texting, they should give me additional data minutes to make up for my additional data costs!

They cancelled my service for nonpayment of a bill I never received. The payment was due less than a week from the date of my phone call to them.

Then, I tried to pay off the remaining balance on a phone, which I had been told was free, and they hung up on me.

I contacted my credit card company and paid off the phone that way. Now, I will begin doing research to find a new mobile phone service provider.

Awful Customer Service

I have been a customer for over 20 years. Recently, I lost my job so I had to make a payment arrangement.

My account was deducted twice. I called my bank and Verizon, who both advised me to call the other company. Well, they were duplicate payments and they were only supposed to reverse one. So Verizon suspended services as both payments were reversed.

I paid the very instant I realized, which was at disconnection, but it didn't register in the system. I paid on my Verizon app like usual, but the payment was applied to a Fios Account that I closed and no longer had one month ago. They stated they had to do an investigation that would take 2-3 days, all while I still had no service. After 20 years, you would think that they would at least restore service until the investigation was complete.

They would not make an exception at all.

Verizon used to be great with customer service. I don't know if they are now outsourcing, but I plan to switch.

All I wanted to do was change the EFT bank as listed into another bank account number. I have spent nearly two (2) hours on the phone with al least 4 agents and none could do this task!!!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!

YOU ARE A PHONE COMPANY AND YOU CANNOT DO THIS TASK??

The last agent Devon was helpful and finally told me to go to the store.

While we were messing with this; the payment was denied by the original bank, so now I guess you are not getting paid until I drive all the way to the store. Not a happy customer!!!

Horrible.Either have to repeat the same sorry again and again with a solution or unable to reach any live person.The system is fundamentally broke. Have no idea how they conduct business.

1. Roaming service in Canada (supposed to be covered) was not available at all during the first 2 days, and customer service was not reachable.
2.

Wrong device was shipped and charged but unable to return and get refunded.
3. The discount that was promised at the enrollment was not realized and hours+++ of my time has been wasted talking to multiple agents repeatedly without final solution.
4. Your customer service is supposed to be open till 9pm EST (which is already very inconvenient) however when I called shortly after 8pm, after long wait and useless robot talks, it said 'the center is currently closed, we apologize for the inconvenience...'. What a joke!!!

I have no idea how to get timely support in the US, let alone when I need to travel abroad again soon! I would like to have my money back and switch from Verizon ASAP!!

I was told the re-stocking fee for 2 iPads would be waived by Alex at the Ocean Pines store. We did not receive refund and now he refuses to acknowledge what he offered. $150 to put 2 iPads in the back room is ridiculously expensive!
