Went in the store sat there for 20 min, no one spoke to me, 2 people walked in and there store employees went right up to them and signed them in to wait for service, this is absolutely absurd, and disrespectful

Verizon review: Cell phone service great, FIOS home internet part of company is horrible!!

Details
Any time i have a problem with home FIOS internet service, i spend at least 1-2 hours on hold waiting to talk to someone, even if they say the estimated wait time is 7-9 mins. There is always a lot of hassle, and automated directions to go through steps i've already gone through- multiple times. Just very frustrating. Resolution to problems does not happen quickly. I never experience this with my verizon phone plan- have had that over 10 years with zero complaints. Not sure what is wrong with the FIOS/internet part of the company. More than ready to switch providers!!

Verizon review: FIOS TV channel features are unsatisfactory.

Details
Sometime this past week my FIOS features on the channel selector turned worthless. The channel selector features, that I have had for years and years, no longer work. I have to commit channel number and station ID to memory as they don't show up on the screen. My selectors for GUIDE and INFO do not work. The clock function is not working. There's to much to type in this small block. How can I regain these functions.

Missing on demand features, guide and info at bottom of screen occur when set top box and router are not "talking" to each other. A VZ tech should visit to troubleshoot.

Details
I added Fios TV to my bundle in June. For the first time muyy September bill included $93 in charges for movies and series purchased. I had neither ordered nor watched any such programming. I spoke with 4 different customer service representatives and could not convince any that I had been incorrectly charged. I was definitely cheated and seem to have no recourse. Also, when I joined FIOS it was with an offer of a 1 year renewal on my Amazon Prime membership. I was never notified that it expired in July and I could no longer take advantage of the offer. Again, no recourse available. Worst customer service ever, though the individuals were polite.

I own a duplex in a rural area and FIOS in not an option. Two addresses with the options of landline and broadband internet service. One bill was $9 more than the other so I began a chat to ask why. Over several chats, 3+ hours I couldn't get an answer so I went to an office. They called the customer service number and gave me a phone to wait on hold!!! At the store! Finally got an agent... now one bill is $25 more than the other!!! I couldn't be more unhappy with the service I have received.

1st the ivru keeps routing you back to the propaganda about preorder the apple tablet, I ask for billing and it transfers me back to the same message about the apple tablet, I counted 10 times, it will not send me to a person, I hang up and try again and again, when I finally reach a person they can't help, so they transfer to the wrong department, I've spent 3 hours on the phone and also chatting with nothing resolved, so disgusted with them, they really don't care, of course they are good at saying how sorry, so so sorry, fed up! I still can't pay my bill, they have a glitch they refuse to address, they tell me to call my financial institution and when I do they say nothing wrong with the card, it's a VERIZON ISSUE!

I moved in June and provided Verizon with my new address information. FIOS, is not available in N.C. and received a confirmation from Verizon, I would not be charged an early termination fee ($200). Every month since the end of June, I have been receiving automated phone calls stating, I owe $200. Every month, I have spoken to a representative whom states "we see you do not owe anything but, your account has not been updated". I have been hearing the same response since, the end of June. How long does it take to update an account???

I originally signed up for an unlimited family plan for three phones. The agreement was for $50 a phone. This was a year and a half ago. I moved my sons phone to a separate plan. This was to give him more responsibility. No person told me that anything else would change. Oh but it did. My bill grew from $50 a month to $80 a month plus other charges They couldn’t explain. My total bill became $349. I called and they said that unlimited plans are now $80 each. I said I never signed papers agreeing to these new terms. My plan should cost the same. I also cancelled the protection plan because the bill was so big. Ridiculous all the was around. Eventually I will cancel Verizon. I am looking for something else.
