Their customer service answering machine even says " we know you would like to talk to a live person " but if you can't enter a valid phone number that is currently active it tells you "we are sorry you are having trouble, we would like to assist you " and then hangs...

System looping without updating

The automated system would not accept my new debit card, it looped on zip code. Verizon suspended my account for 30 days due to too many log in attempts. I finally got a hold of a person at Verizon and they refused to restart my account. I then went to the Verizon store, who also told me my account was suspended for 30 days. I said, I have never in my life heard of a business practice that refuses to take my money. I have been a Verizon customer for 20 years I walked across the street to AT&;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;at

Poor service

Verizons coverage has really declined! If they cant get it going again, I will have to switch! Ive been with Verizon for 14 years and always had great coverage but that has all changed over the last 6-8 months! What gives!!!!

SOMETHING TO DO WITH A NEW CFO A YEAR AGO??? BUT FOR SURE THEY ARE COOKIN A DEAL WITH SPECTRUM. BOTTOM LINE, WERE ALL HOOKED, THEY KNOW IT, AND THEY HAVE FULL CONTROL.

Billing

I spent almost 2 hours on chat and phone. I was assured the additional 15.00 month charge would be removed. It wasn't. I just got notification that higher amount was charged to my debit card. Do I need to spend 2 more hours on phone/chat to get this resolved. HORRENDOUS

Sales, family plan

Sooooo long to speak to someone. Like SERIOUSLY!? 20-30 minutes. Half of them I can barely understand due to echos, high pitch sounds in the background. Than disconnected. Now I gotta wait ANOTHER!! 20-30 to speak to someone. Lime ARRRRR!!!! CMON FIX THIS Verizon.

Unethical Practices

CS does not explain consequences of making payment arrangements to pay for equipment. I had a large equipment balance-my kids stole phones from me left w/$1300 balance to pay. Made payment arrangements and was making payments every 2 weeks and kept on schedule. After after 4 months, they demand full payment of balance w/no warning. Won't allow arrangements, then hang up on you several times. You O ND

apology & poor customer service and no explanation given at anytime that large balance would be due suddenly.Rude Financial Services Dept that hangs up on you several time. When my contract is over,I will be leaving Verizon, if not sooner.

Autopay

I wanted to set up autopay. Went to my Verizon, entered password, couldn't remember answer to security question. Now they want me to change my password@#$. Can't get to customer service, chat got cut off, I've been at this for an hour and a half! Don't you want my money???

Chat persons

Instead of answering questions, Verizons chat persons apparently now subcontracted to companies located in India try to sell upgraded plans and equipment to current or future customers. In the process, they offer incentives without divulging the total costs involved.

User's recommendation: Get complete cost details, the date of the chat , order # , and name of chat person.

I spent thirty years with AT&T and received almost perfect service. The company moved out of the area and I signed up with Verizon as my new carrier. I have received TERRIBLE service. I reported my dr

tI signed up with Verizon and received TERRIBLE service. I had drop calls in the middle of very important calls. I report my problems several times and the problem continues, and I continue to receive a big bill for little or no service. I did not know that a company like Verizon would treat a customer like how I was treated. The service I received was minus zero. Icannot recommend Verizon to anyone.

When there is a new costumer, and there are problems send professionals to resolve the problem. Many customers are not technology- literate. They need help in setting up phones and other equiptment when they are bought from you.

Cant talk to a live person, local office is closed

Looks like Verizon is using Covid-19 as an excuse to keep stores closed and when you try to reach a customer service representative you are put on hold indefinitely or if not put on hold you are repeatedly given menu options that send you in circles . Verizon is obviously not wanting to hire people to talk to you and using automated systems to save money

Frustrated

i have recently moved to new house. i have Verizon fios installed, maybe 2 months ago. they have yet came to bury the cable. it runs 3 houses down , the neighbor has cut it with his lawnmower. every time we call they just start another ticket. they contract out the install of the cable so we have no ETA. everytime we call the contractor they just give us a attitude.

I am trying to cancel my Disney plus that was just charged to my account by mistake my my 11 yr old . I am now over drawn on my account and would like to be reimbursed as this was a huge mistake .

I need to cancel the Disney Plus for 79.99 + tax ! My son has prescribed and I need to cancel I have tried to cancel the prescription now for 45 minutes and I am not very happy. I cant seem to get the help or support as to what I do from now . Please call or send me how to cancel because now Im over drawn and I did not ok this . Christie Russell

Billing department

I have been with Verizon for over 20 years. You would think I would receive a senior citizen discount and or a front lune worker discount I had three phone on my plan two of which were completely paid off. They still want to charge me over 300.00 a month absolutely ridiculous.
