Verizon won't let me port my number due to a "mystery" bill. Help!
I'm trying to switch carriers but they say I owe money for something I don't recognize. I just want my number released so I can leave.

Yes, Verizon customer service is pathetic, go directly to an Authorized Verizon store and talk to manager!
Verizon, unfortunately has very poor customer service. I would recommend that you go to where your local branch is, find out who the region manager is, and get it dealt with that way. Most of the staff at Verizon do not offer a real solutions or accountability. Therefore, you would be wasting your time talking to the front line people at Verizon.. Hope this helps. Once ypu leave, I would recommend staying far away from this company.
