My Senior Mother got a plan from Verizon in 2016 that costs $100 per year, because she is on a fixed income and only uses her flip phone for emergency or when away from home.. She went in Sept 2019 and paid cash for her 1 year contract she is grandfathered into..
in Dec 2019 they told her she had a 0 balance and had to pay again.. she did not use her phone during this time.. then told her the plan she has is $30 dollars a month to keep it.. and has always been that way..
She has all her receipts which show this is not true. I have called them and got no where, We went into the local store got the same run around.. The least they could do is refund her money from Sept 2019..since they changed her plan without notice and told her she was paid for the year .. .
very disappointing that they would try and scam a senior... and there is no one to contact at verizon that will help..
