Verizon - Frustration
I had been a Verizon customer since my 40-yr-old son was a freshman in high school. I had a bag phone for safety on the road.
Last year I was being charged $80+ a month for one phone. I finally decided to change services. On December 10 I opened an account with another service and cancelled Verizon. They charged me for a full month in late December, and I got an email today saying that my account would be drafted as usual.
I called customer support in December and was told I would receive a reimbursement. It took 45 minutes to get a rep on the phone. Today I got another email that my account would be drafted again. I tried calling customer service again.
After waiting on hold for OVER an HOUR, I got into my car and drove to a Verizon store . By the time I got there, I showed their rep my phone which had exceeded 75 minutes by then.
He tried but could not get to customer service since I have no account. I am so frustrated!!!!
User's recommendation: Choose a different carrier.
