I am writing in regards to an issue we have encountered due to us being new customers to Verizon Fiso. When we signed up for Verizon there was a promotion which gave out $300 visa card.
We were told we would not receive it until we have paid the bill for 3 months. Then we were told that our bill will be credited. To date we have not received neither but we were told by a you and a Kristi that this will be resolved. Since receiving Verizon it has been nothing but problems from the beginning.
We called customer service and was told information about the $300 visa card and the credit for our account was not documented on our account. The reason we switched to Verizon was one Verizon has better rates and two the promotion that was promised to us in which Verizon did not comply with their agreement. The main reason we switched from Verizon was Comcast was not good so Verizon came off as the better company. Verizon has made given us false information in order to get new customers in which I feel is false advertisement.
Oh, to top it all off we were locked into a 2 year agreement that I feel is not fair that we have to pay for cable company that does not stand by their word. The service we have received has not been good, the internet is slow, our cable freezes every now and then. Lastly, the services we received we basically did not get, the services are A la carte. which is a rip off.
Is there any way you can look into the matter of the false information given to you. If you look at the time we received service there was a promotion back in March and April to received a $300 visa credit.
We have been displeased and frustrated with Verizon and the promises that have not kept. Please advise as to how we can get this resolved.
