Verizon recently offered me a new Droid cell phone and an HP Netbook. They neglected to mention that by buying these products I would incur $90 a month in additional service fees on top of the monthly bill I was already paying.

I this what is called "lying by omission." When I called, they told me that I was outside the 30-day window to return the products.

I'm absolutely livid. I'll be speaking to the manager in person tomorrow, and I'll keep you all posted on what happens.

Just remember that when you buy from a comms company you are NEVER buying just the hardware.

Caveat Emptor, man. Yes, they should have told you, but you can't actually complain if you didn't ask or check for yourself on your online account.
