Incompetent

I have been a loyal customer for 17 years!! Paying 4 lines for all of that time. I'm fed up. I am getting told that my "next bill" will have the credits. I'm done!

Want to pay phone bill

I tried for 5 days to find a phone number where I could actually speak to a live person and I just kept getting the run around with pushing buttons. I did get it resolved, I thought. But then yesterday I got a collection notice. I'll be calling the number listed on it, and hopefully it won't result in any problems with my credit score. Code needed to activate my phone on another wireless carrier's network

Hello, My name is Angela Hutmacher, I've been with Verizon for 6 years. On 14 April 2021, I accepted an offer (that was a 'Thank You' for my Loyalty to Verizon), of unlimited talk & text with 15g of data for $35 monthly or $38.44 w/tax. Since then, my phone has not worked properly. When I attempted to contact Verizon I learned.... My Verizon account, phone and Myself DID NOT EXIST.....evidently I had been canceled. What I need is the Verizon code that will allow me to activate my phone on another carrier's network. Phone calls have proven worthless.....thus the reason for this email. I would appreciate your attention to this issue ASAP. Angela Hutmacher

User's recommendation: keep any and all paperwork. Print off ALL communications. keep an eye on your bank account...if there are questionable charges contact Verizon, and demand a correction and proof of correction.

Cell phone de-tuned one day after it was paid off.

Thank you, Verizon, for slowing down and de-tunning my phone one day after it was paid off. How obvious is that? Sure, I'll buy another one from you. Sure I will.

4G Service Service Stinks

I've used Verizon for quite some time. I'm on the $70.00 a month supposed unlimited plan but there's nothing unlimited about it.. Not even remotely. It's unlimited unless you use it. .. I'm not one of those people that use 500 GB a month either.. Most months less than 30 and occasionally a little more or less. Lately it's like they're throttling the *** out of it again. I don't know if it's because the towers or because so many people are at home or what but it's totally ridiculous to keep paying this kind of money when it really doesn't work any better paying $70.00+ a month for it than it did when I was on the $40-$50.00 plan. I don't know what the problem is but I sure wish they would make it work half way decently again.

I gave up on Verizon and switched to a new provider (T-Mobile). No carrier is perfect but so far, pleased with them.

Teacher's discount

Went thru their verification process and my daughter was verified as a teacher, but system would never let us apply for discount. Did not like her first name. Customer service is computer generated advise and useless. Never got to a human.

My service has been discontinued due to $400 of fraudulent spoofing calls.

Having made no 411 calls in 12 years with Fios, I was hit with $400 in 2 months. I spent 45 minutes on chat before I found out they could not access my bills. Spent 30 minutes with no one that could help me and was transferred and waited 25 minutes and no one picked up. I have paid my normal billing amount and still they discontinued my service. I have had Fios for12 years and retired from Verizon after 28 year in 2007. Somehow since then my company has become a 3rd world version of Comcast. So unless I can get this straight in 4 days, I will be a Comcast customer.

User's recommendation: Don't go there expecting any customer service. I could not even find a place to send written correspondence. They want the payment and nothing else. Sad for what has been a great company..

Denied refund,

Payment was debited out of my account on 10/18,no auto pay was listed ,was canceling my service anyway. After launching a investigation, I was informally made known that they denied my request for refund. God forbid a multi gazillion dollar company is out 128.00

Calling for support is a nighmare!

First, they try to push you into using an automated system. After holding for 10 minutes of that nonsense, they put you through a seemingly endless maze of automated trials and tribulations including they're assuming you have a TV or internet problem. Then they automatically reset your box and/or router when you haven't reported a problem with either leading to another 15-20 minutes. When you do finally get a live person, they're in the Philippines or India somewhere, and they can't understand half of what you're saying and you get frustrated having to explain the same thing over and over and over again while they STILL don't get what you're trying to say. I've now on been on hold for 40 minutes waiting to speak to a live technician. I only keep Verizon because their technology is better than the rest. My respect for Verizon is sinking fast!

Changed program guide

Today Verizon changed their program guide in ways that are infuriating. Twice as many channels shown per screen which means script is much more difficult to read. No consideration for older customers with vision problems. Also, the did away with the color coding for types of programs. Red was used to indicate movies, etc. I am going to become a cord cutter.

Cannot reach a live person for more compliated problems.

What ever happened to Verizon service? They have gone out of their way to make you chat your issue. Waste of time. I have been with them since they started in L A. They are not the only cellular company out there.
