Verizon sent a text pictured below Saying they have our back.. since we were going thru a disaster (Hurricane Lane) effective thru Aug 28 we would have unlimited talk, text, data for the affected zip codes...
We were in the zip code but our data kept going down.. so we called customer service and they said we need to exhaust our data to receive this benefit.. Now they tell us.. very deceiving ad and not attached fine print..
there needs to be laws protecting the consumer stating that these companies need to state all the fine details... and if they fail to do so they need to pay all consumers. Verizon also throttled the Santa Clara County Fire Department’s supposedly “unlimited” data plan while the agency was fighting the record wildfires..
they keep doing it because they are not held liable for these deceptive practices.. I know it's buyer beware but there needs to be detailed info readily available attached to each ad.
