Moved out of my residence in September 2010, requested return boxes for the equipment i had. Never received anything. Called a second and third time, never received boxes. Finally, was told to bring boxes to a UPS center to send them back. I did so and 3 months after, I get a bill from Verizon for $954!!!!!!!!!!! for unreturned equipement. In June 2011, Verizon Internet disconnected my Internet service without my permission. I had never missed a payment in the 2 years I had been a customer nor had I ever been late with a payment. So, my identity was stolen earlier this year in March. I signed up for the Triple Play more than ayear ago. AQt that time I told the salesman I did NOT want the games, movies,off-line storage, parental controls and the whole list of add-ons - PERIOD. Guess what? The first invoice had all the extras listed at N/C. I went back to the salesman, he called customer support, he assured me that it was taken care of. So you are thinking of Verizon Fios for your home? Think again. Here is what happened to me. On January 16th I ordered the Fios "bundle" from Verizon, using their 1-800-get-fios number. I go through about five levels of voice prompts, no people, only to get a message stating "all circuits are busy, try again later". I try a half dozen more times that week, without success. "Every month I been charge $15.00 each line reconnection fees ( 1 have 4 phones) my husband, son. mom & self. Every monthh if I missed my payments in days, they will shut off our lines and charge $15 each line. for example I made my past due payment on Jan 20, 2012 and the way they handle consumers.
