Overcharged fees

in contract but computer continues to over charge and i have to call in each month for credits bit have been told that the computer generates these charges and can not correct via computer. I have to take my time out and find a representative that can credit correctly. Within this time , I am charged late fees and no one seems to undersatnd why my contract is what it is. I am grandfathered in , yet i continually get charges each month that I do not incur because the prices have gone up. They owe me not me owing them .

Sue them for breach of contract. They would do the same to you...when you win, then the FCC and your state"s attorney general will also take notice.

Verizon allied with scammers

This past month I have been inundated with scammer calls such as phony IRS agent, rate reduction, phony gas and electric reps, etc. I have been looking up these numbers on the net since they are the same area code as mine. Guess what? every single one is a cell phone with Verizon as the provider. I have had experience with Verizon and knew they were disreputable, but I never thought they would stoop so low. Verizon should be totally investigated by the FCC and the Justice dept. They should face a hefty fine and all corporate execs should go to jail. There should be a class action suit filed against them.

Was in hospital for 3, months no computer. They double charge me for all three months. When I got home and called was told they would correct it. Two days later they emptied my account and close it. I can't reach customer service because, no active account. I really think the FCC should close them down. Criminals " even Verizon " should not get away with this. Sadly Walmart claims they only sell the phone and service, so they will not even refund the cost of the basic phone and service. I know two wrongs don't make a right, but if the nearest Verizon store gets hit by mother nature again I will stand and salute her.

A Fios representative came to my door and claimed to be someone who worked on the phone lines. When I opened the door and she started a sales pitch, I said I was satisfied with Optimum and started to close the door. She then said, “Well, good luck with that, *** I couldn’t get through on amy numbers to file a complaint, but this woman should lose her job, and I would NEVER consider switching to Fios now.

Loyal customer pissed off with price increase

I feel that the cost of the smallest things has increased to frustrating levels in the past year. I have turned off a significant amount of the operations that eat up data & still my data disappears. I feel that if I physically pick up the phone to place it on another counter in my apartment & don't turn it on, 50% of my data is gone. Is the company trying to charge people for more data than they use each month? I signed up for an Ellipsis almost a year ago. It has never picked up signal or worked wherever I am located. I tried to see what my options were to return it so I wouldn't be charged monthly for something that doesn't work & I have never used. The Verizon service agent that I spoke to in St. Louis told me that I can't return it - I had 14 days to complete the return transaction. So I should have stopped my life for 14 days, traveled around to see if it worked & then made a decision. Customers don't have handfuls of money to throw at a phone & they probably don't have endless amounts of time to dedicate to a Verizon system to see if it works & is a keeper. It makes me really sad because I have a feeling that all phone carriers are like this, so I don't know if it would be wise to leave Verizon. I will just keep encountering similar situations with competitors.

Worst customer service ever experienced

We were supposed to have fios installed yesterday between 10 and 12. A tech didn't show. We called and were told all is fine and they'll be there. No one called or showed. We call around 530 wait for an hour to speak with someone. She figures out that the person with service before us just suspended their account and it needed cancelled. If it was cancelled that day she said they could come install tomorrow no problem. We knew the previous person and no problem. We call that night and the girl had no clue what was going on and said no one can come for over a week. We asked to speak with a supervisor and they were to call back and never did. We call this morning and the womanwas so rude saying it was our fault. Mind you we got a voicemail 2 days before the scheduled install saying more info was needed and we did call right back and were told everything was fine. We are being told by this rude woman they are not at fault and that we have to wait 5 days for a tech. We talk to a supervisor who would not admit fault on their part and that we just have to wait. Evem though we already waited over a week beforehand. Their employees obviously don't know how to perform their jobs and the way this was handled is unacceptable. We have no option but to stay with them and they know this. The right thing to do would be to send a tech out today because it is their fault. Most rude company i have ever dealt with.

Verizon “Unlimited Data” plan is a HOAX

My husband switched to the Unlimited Data plan when buying our son a new phone. He was not told up front that this was actually NOT unlimited data - that we would be LIMITED after using so many GB on our hotspots and phones. We live in a rural area where other major services (AT&T, Comcast) are not offered, so he was very excited about the new “Unlimited” plan offered by our phone service. But now we have even WORSE service than the little local company tower provided! AND we lost our excellent pricing on 80GB for the same price as 40GB on our previous Verizon plan when we switched. We have been customers of Verizon for 15+ years. This is the first time I have been willing to talk to a competitor about switching. We will switch if this is not corrected by Verizon.

Christmas specials impossible because website not working

When call Verizon they don't answer calls. Have been on hold for about 45 minutes. We pay around$200 per month minimum. Verizon awful and misleads their customers

In my market there is only Verizon & Comcast for internet service. I have Verizon.

My service went up 40%. I called and they don't care because they are the only game in town. This is gouging, pain and simple. Since the internet has now become a necessity, they can charge whatever they want.

Were is the Consumer Protection Agency. AT one time we had the PUC (Public Utility Commission) now the have disappeared. What's a consumer to do? I suggest that they are working together to fix the market.

Is there anyway a consumer can fight these monopolies? Some day a smaller company will be able to provide these services at a much lower price, if the large companies do not crush them.

They offer a service at a price they set. If you don't wish to pay the price, then don't take it.

Simple decision.

You have no "right" to internet service nor do you have a "right" to service at the price you want. For your info, internet service is not a "necessity." If you cannot get thru a day without the internet, then your problem(s) run deeper than most.

Lies and zero customer service

Placed and order for an 8+ on 9/26/17 and was promised the device 9/29/17 by employee. Now being told wont have it until 10/10/17. Called to find out how we could expedite the phone. Contacted Verizon and wasted 1.5 hours of my time with zero resolution. Supervisor was suppose to call me back at noon on 9/29/17. NO call back. Called Verizon again 9/29/17 and wasted another hour or more still with NO accceptable resolution. They want to cancel order and me to go to local store with will cost me more money. That is unacceptable. There has to be some way to correct this problem, get the phone befire 10/10/17 and not cost me extra money for their lies and incompetency. Have been a Verizon customer for 25 years. Very pissed at the lack of customer sevivce and the lies told just to get a sale.

Verizon - Being pounded for 77 dollars

After years of being screwed by verizon i came home one day to find a giant cable hanging across my back yard. It took 5 years to get them to raise the little wires that used to hit me in the head in my garden, and after they finally did they put this cabel 2 feet lower.

You can do chin ups on it. Complaints went un answered. I became disabled 2 years ago. Financials went it the tank.

Verizon cut off my service over a past due of 77 dollars. When i spoke to them om mt ATT phone i told them not to reconnect and send tge final bill. When i got tge final bill it was for over 135 dollars and i didnt even know they had reconnected me since i never use the home phone. Now i have list 70% of my income and im on disability.

My wife lost her job in January and remains unemployed. All my creditors of 40 or so years look to help us thru with the exception of verizon. They sent me to collections and when i call the collector back i get lectures. They ask me hiw can we resolve this byr will not send me any kind if documents to attest to that.

They tell me its beyond a bill its on collections.

A billion dollar company pounding on a 60 year old disabled guy who us in the process of packibg up his house to keave since he us broke. Verizon, you suck on all end.

"Nothing they can do"

Went to the Verizon store at 76th and Dodge in Omaha Saturday about noon to pay on the pre-paid cell phone account we have had for about 20 years. The payment did NOT post. A customer service girl suggested the service has been discontinued, which is odd since I use the phone and still have a balance. The manager insisted there was nothing he could do, he would not refund the money, he demanded I “calm down” or he would have me thrown out and suggested I call an attorney if I didn’t like it. This is an appalling way to handle customer problems. We will change carriers.
