Verizon review in Westminster, California: Overly aggressive spam filter blocking outgoing emails

*** VERIZON Fios Internet! Arrrrgggggg! Anger at the emotion controls full throttle. 5 outgoing emails BLOCKED because "The message you attempted to send was determined to be spam". I have to use ‪#‎Verizon‬'s outgoing server even though I have my own email host or it won't send. Now I have to put up with their overly aggressive spam net for my outgoing messages. A link without much message = spam. A forwarded newsletter = spam. Email conversation between my dad and I (no links) = spam. WTF!!!!! Now I have to have my emails forwarded and approved by their "spam detector" email. What a pain in the butt.

After my experience with Verizon Customer Service. I was called a liar, lied to and everything else you can say. They took my contract cell phone and changed it to a prepaid phone without my consent. Make matters worse. Lied to me. Tried to cover up the issue and everything else. I actually did something smart that they don't like. I recorded every conversation with Customer Service. It is simple and lots of apps out there to do it. That is my best advice to anyone and get away from this company quickly. You will save yourself a lot of time and trouble. Enjoy...

Also horrible experience with Verizon. They almost make Comcast look good.

Am about to report them to our AG here in MA. She's a tiger.

Had year and a half long battle with this company: "Verizon Fios the NIghtmare." Tech support claimed they do not guarantee WiFi. I copied and pasted that conversation.

They are guilty of theft of personal property, damage to personal property, ignoring disconnected cable on the ground.

And more... Who are you going to use?

Have had a year and a half of lies from Verizon. Sorry you got tricked into doing business with them.

Please complain to your state Attorney General as I am going to do on Monday.

My unbelievable story with them: Verizon Fios the Nightmare.

Every company will have service issues. So why is fios customer service agents so defensive and shady? Its better to have one happy customer than 50 poorly served. Lets be truthful about where and when the scope of service will consistantly be provided. The network strength on internet services should not be a *** shoot .

I renewed my contract and got a phone and a tablet. The tablet never worked for me and I didnt use it. Eventually contacted verizon and went through support for more than 1 hour. didnt work. Then I took it to the store. checked and the rep said there will be a replacement sent to you. After 3 weeks the same has come back to me. 1. Verizon has charged me for 6 months and not able to use the service. 2. I am not their slave to work on trouble shooting when there is something wrong with their equipment. If they want me to help they should pay me for hours spent on their equipment. 3. The Verizon store rep, clearly lied to me. 4. customer service recommended get a lawyer, as my next step! 5. I have tried FCC and will try BBB and all possible options. ALl waste of time because verizon wants to rip off customers and impose their power over customers.

Got an unexpected rate hike and speeds got lower and constantly have problems accessing my e-mail accounts ,which take massive amount of time that i do not have to fix only , to happen again . If Verizon is not your only option run , don't walk away from them ! Also customer service doesn't communicate well as they don't have the proper language skills to speak and think in English in real time . videos streaming sucks .they claim that you get 1-3 mega bites per second , which I never see . I'am lucky to see one M.B. per second

Oh yes, am seeing that you and I are definitely not alone with Verizon junk. Did you switch?

If so, can you recommend? I only have 2 other options here in MA--Comcast and RCN.

I've had a year and a half of *** with this company.

I did record the tech support saying that "WiFi is not guaranteed." Also not guaranteed is techs damaging and even stealing personal property. Am contacting our state Attorney General's office next week.

About a little over a 2 years ago we decided it was time to upgrade our phones and add data to our plan. We were pretty much out of contract for about a year and on the existing old contract of 3 years so an upgrade was needed. The customer service sales rep we were dealing with was giving us the low down on the plans and phones we could get so we ordered and went with a plan and had her repeat the plan and the dollar amount to us and she transferred us to another person who deals with the contracting and then we were sent back to the sales rep. Everything sounded great and we were anticipating our new phones. When we received them we called and activated them and deactivated our old ones. Then we get the text for our service contract and about had a cow as to the amount it was going to cost us per month not anywhere near what we agreed to over the phone! Really! Called immediately and talked to another service rep and pretty much got no where with them. After several calls (like 6) had them reactivate our old phones and sent the new ones back with the agreement that we would not be charged do to false pricing and contract information that was given to us! Another year went by and we went through the same thing we were originally were going to leave for another phone company but gave Verizon another chance (16 yr. customers ) Why we did this I will never know! The exact same thing happened to us even after we explained our experience we had a year ago had the rep repeat to us like 10 times the total bill amount for each month and the cost. I kid you not 10 times repeated!!! Couldn't believe it when we activated the phones and checked the amount and they stated we were given the wrong quote and it was going to cost us 230.00 not the 170.00 What the fudge! Talked to more reps and managers and call backs from managers and etc. finally got somewhere and 170.00 was final...... so we thought! It is now a year into our contract but, before that, about 6 months ago we get a text from Verizon for a "special promotion" adding GB's to our phones for the same price... well sure we are in and did it! Opps! We are now 1 year into our contract and we get our bill $202.00! What, did we go over our GB's or what? Call and they said our "promotion" was up and we did not qualify for another promotion and our price is $202.00! Um what? We want our 170.00 that we agreed to with our 2 year contract with the GB's we had then thank you! No you can't have that either that was a promotion also and that is not longer available! Really! No one ever said that these were temporary and that they expire, read the fine print! What fine print? It was a text message! So we are now in a battle for our original plan that we have a year left on that doesn't exist in Verizon's books! UGH! This is manipulative and deceitful!

Well on monday i was trying to get my oldest son a new phone and veerizon told me thst i couldnt not do it because i had a bill from lastyear that i was willing to pay to get my son another phone. Instead of telling me when on the phone with me that they tool next months phone bill and i couldnt get another phone i just called and asked for my money back. So iwent to another company and cant wait for the service that i have with verizon to be off the bill is crazy .

I would not be using Verizon Fios if I could get another service provider in my area. They have their way of forcing you to upgrade. By using the technology that they have, they watch how many people watch certain channels under a lower package and then when it's time to renew, they remove these channels from the lower package and move them to the higher priced packages. You wither pay the extra fees for the higher priced package or do without the channel you've grown to love and enjoy for 2 yrs. I've been watching the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel under my Extreme HD package for years and when it was time to renew I was told that I would be able to keep my same package. Come to find out that this was a lie. The next day after renewing, the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel was gone. When I tried to tune to the channel it stated, "Upgrade your TV plan to include HM&M and more. Ultimate HD $35.00 more per month." I enjoyed watching Columbo, Matlock, Murder She Wrote, etc. I watched this channel almost on a daily basis and now the channel is gone. Yet on their website, it states this channel comes with my package. This is typical bait-and-switch *** and I hate this company for doing this!
