Verizon fios is sooooooooooooooooooo slow hate getting on computer

could not delete my unwanted emails it always happens when I check my email like today every time I go on line this happen thought this was suppose to be faster why am I paying for this just fedup with this service Verizon needs to shut down and go away totally useless do not get on line very often because of this problem I hate your service VERIZON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!still cannot send this message this is what I am talking about very upset looking into other internet and phone companies what is it no man power to do the work or making people do 2 and 3 peoples job that sucks if it is true every company is doing that while the big wigs make the big money sitting on their *** the employees is what makes a company run but do not get the right pay for the job

Embarrassed and angry

I had just switched to Verizon from AT&T. I live out in the country on the side of the coastal range mountains in Oregon, and was on the outer fringe of AT&T's service are. Verizon had put up a tower just a few miles away and I thought I might get better coverage if I went over to them. After about a week of signing with Verizon I went in for hip replacement surgery. I live on a few acres and my sister and brother in-law parked their motor home next to my house so that all I would have to do is call her if I needed help in the middle of the night. The first night home from the hospital I tried calling my sister three or four times but all I received was a record saying "all circuits are try your call again later". Now this was at about 3:00 in the morning. How could there have been that many making calls at 3:00 am. I ended up having to call 911 and having to have three young firemen help me out of bed so that I could go to the restroom. Now I am a 65 year old woman and though I was very greatful to these very nice young men, it was very embarrassing. When I called Verizon to complain the next morning they were not very nice or helpful and didn't sound in the least repentant. I could get no reasons or answers to why this happend. Needless to say as soon as I could get the phone paid off (they would let me bring my AT&T phone) I went back to AT&T.

Canceled Order/Still Charged for Service

I canceled my installation of Verizon FIOS TV and Internet. I was told that I would not be charged anything for the cancellation. Of course I received a bill for one month's service. I called the customer service line about 3x. I was told each time not to pay the bill and my account would be corrected. This was never done. I have gone ahead and paid the bill as it is now easier for me to pay the bill (about $50) rather than waste more time and energy on the company by calling yet again (there is no way to complain in writing directly to the company except by snail mail). I will never utilize Verizon in the future nor recommend to anyone.

They offer a service at a price they set. If you don't wish to pay the price, then don't take it.

Simple decision.

You have no "right" to internet service nor do you have a "right" to service at the price you want. For your info, internet service is not a "necessity." If you cannot get thru a day without the internet, then your problem(s) run deeper than most.

Lies and zero customer service

Placed and order for an 8+ on 9/26/17 and was promised the device 9/29/17 by employee. Now being told wont have it until 10/10/17. Called to find out how we could expedite the phone. Contacted Verizon and wasted 1.5 hours of my time with zero resolution. Supervisor was suppose to call me back at noon on 9/29/17. NO call back. Called Verizon again 9/29/17 and wasted another hour or more still with NO accceptable resolution. They want to cancel order and me to go to local store with will cost me more money. That is unacceptable. There has to be some way to correct this problem, get the phone befire 10/10/17 and not cost me extra money for their lies and incompetency. Have been a Verizon customer for 25 years. Very pissed at the lack of customer sevivce and the lies told just to get a sale.

virtually impossible to contact these crooks to point out billing issues. Try comcast if you want customer service. for 200 a month you would think they could at least have someone to listen to your concerns. they constantly bill me for items that are not supposed to be there. and I have to call them each month to make adjustments. never had such problems with comcast. and while im pissed off I dont understand why you need 100 words on this *** website. i thought we had evolved as a society apparently i was wrong about that also. never seen such an incompetent bunch of ***.

Whoever I spoke to, Garret, I believe. Was unhelpful, argumentative, and did not honor previous employee promises. I am extremely dissatisfied, and frankly angry. Based upon my experiences so far, I would not recommend this service to anyone.

My data is Bing sped up so it looks like I'm using more than I really am!! How can I use any of my data while my phone is off for 12 hours and when I turn it back on it says I used 2 more gigs?? So what's up am I the only one this seems to be happening too??

Cancelled my purchase!

My online purchase was cancelled. They emailed me to call them which I did. They asked odd personal questions which I answered. The questions were strange such as "How long have you lived at your home?". I answered. After the FBI like integration was over, I was denied. I asked her which questions didn't make sense? She refused to tell me. It's hard to explain on phone I am who I say I am when they aren't helping me explain myself. Awful service. They asked for me to provide an ID at the nearest Verizon Store. Problem is the nearest store is 50 miles away with a extreme work schedule. This defeats the purpose of ordering online. It was a simple phone for which I was denied. The lady could have been more professional and more honest. I can't imagine what it is like to actually have a contract with Verizon.

We had 4G service 3 months ago. We lost service for 10 hrs & now we only have 3G sometime. I am roaming & there is a tower 1 mile from me. Address: 147 Mott Rd. Brookeland, Tx 75931. Have been with Verizon 20 yrs but will change to another company for better service as before!

In same neighborhood as you and Verizon Cell Service started being very very poor since April but definitley more so the past month. I cannot make calls or receive calls.

Texts are delayed most days for hours. I have a jetpak and service is fine , but my verizon cell service (text and cell) is pretty non-existent the past many weeks. Spoke to customer service and they said they could not understand why the jetpak works fine and shows 4G but not my cell service. They put in a trouble ticket and stated they had techs working on the issue for over a week, then sent a report saying it was "New building construction that interrupts tower line of sight" when there have been NO NEW BUILDINGS CONSTRUCTED!!!

Have had Verizon for many years, as have nearly all of our community, and there is not any other service that works in our area. Verizon needs to do something about the service, this is critical as emergency calls cannot even be made.

Varizon are the worst scammers could exit in the face of the earth, they carged me a with $300

I bought a cell phone with unlimited calls all over of USA. in April, and four months latter, Verizon charged over $3,000 for a bill of November of the same year. When it was only August. All out the regions, when all m y calls were few blocks from my home, also they have he nerve to take double payment from my bank account, Never was able to get my money back, they are the worse scamming hasty vulgar criminals. Should be in jail and the company should be closed and burning off. I would prefer be without a phone service, rather than use Verizon. I do not why they never being arrest.

Worst customer service ever experienced

We were supposed to have fios installed yesterday between 10 and 12. A tech didn't show. We called and were told all is fine and they'll be there. No one called or showed. We call around 530 wait for an hour to speak with someone. She figures out that the person with service before us just suspended their account and it needed cancelled. If it was cancelled that day she said they could come install tomorrow no problem. We knew the previous person and no problem. We call that night and the girl had no clue what was going on and said no one can come for over a week. We asked to speak with a supervisor and they were to call back and never did. We call this morning and the womanwas so rude saying it was our fault. Mind you we got a voicemail 2 days before the scheduled install saying more info was needed and we did call right back and were told everything was fine. We are being told by this rude woman they are not at fault and that we have to wait 5 days for a tech. We talk to a supervisor who would not admit fault on their part and that we just have to wait. Evem though we already waited over a week beforehand. Their employees obviously don't know how to perform their jobs and the way this was handled is unacceptable. We have no option but to stay with them and they know this. The right thing to do would be to send a tech out today because it is their fault. Most rude company i have ever dealt with.
