"LIES" WARRANTY AND SUPERVISOR "LIES"

I just got off the phone with a Verizon Supervisor. Verizon is going to loose a lot of business, IF THIS IS THEIR BUSINESS PLAN!!! My Wife has an older phone, we've been paying $11.00/month for warranty for 5 years. Phone has gone bad internally, no damage.. Phone is no longer available. This was a $650. phone when purchased. Verizon offered to replace with a phone that sells on Ebay for $50. Not a comparable phone. I spoke to a supervisor, he tried to tell me that comparable does not mean that it needs to have the same functionality. I tried to get him to look at a dictionary for the meaning of comparable. He then said LIKE phone, I then countered with the same argument. What is LIKE? He said it DOES NOT have to have the same functionality. BASICALLY, WE PAID , OVER 5 YEARS. Verizon was being so nice by offering a $50 phone in replacement. I requested to speak to his supervisor, he was off today. Very convenient, how does a billion dollar company NOT HAVE A SUPERVISOR ON DUTY? We asked for a Galaxy S7, which is a older phone, but was comparable to what she had. The S7 sells for $250. on Ebay. Verizon would not replace her phone with a S7. They wanted her to take a $50. without wireless charging. Her phone had wireless charging; all we requested was a comparable phone. Supervisor insisted wireless charging was not a part of a comparable phone. I WAS LIED TO, SEVERAL TIMES, BEWARE OF VERIZON AND THEIR SUPERVISORS. IF A SUPERVISOR CAN'T MAKE A $200. DECISION, THEY ARE NOT NEEDED! Verizon this issue occurred on 1/19/18, between 2:00p.m. and 5:00p.m. Please contact me. Spoke to two different operators and one supervisor. Supervisor promised to have his supervisor contact me, WHENEVER, the supervisor returns to work. This shows what a company thinks about CUSTOMER SERVICE. THANK YOU!

Complaint

No basic phone service for 2 and 1/2 months and counting. Techs that come and tell me problem resolved (Not). Techs that do not show up. Appointments changed with no notification. A wiring issue on Verizon's equipment kicked in a call forwarding number from 2005 (AOL). I had no dial tone to make calls, and when anyone tried to call me they got AOL. A Tech came on 12/7, and fixed the wiring problem, so all that was needed was the central office remove the call forwarding...Didn't happen. Called and was told I needed a tech to fix the wiring made 2 Saturday appointments, which the tech did not show up. Heard many many lies as well as each person telling me pretty much "not my job". Finally get a tech on 1/12 who is very professional and concerned. The dial tone is restored, and now the central office needs to remove call forwarding. Apparently they did, but now instead of getting AOL, we get a busy signal, and I am told I need a tech to come and fix the wiring. there are no Saturday appointments available, and the 1st weekday would be 1/31, another 2 weeks...I requested that the account be closed, I have been a customer for 42 years, but no one could close the account, once again "not my job" I have now filed a complaint with the NYS Utility Commission and will await their assistance. Incompetent is not a strong enough word to describe their lack of professionalism or lack of intelligence of the customer service staff.

50.00 Service Tech fee when I never asked for one

We had called Verizon several times to see if they could fix my VOD but they could not do it remotely. They opted to send a service tech out. The service tech said he was going to change out the 10 year old no longer in service box. We checked our bill and noticed HE charged us for a 50.00 service tech fee??? I quickly called verizon, and there was an hour wait, I then try to expedite this by doing the online chat at 2:55pm (unsure what time it is in India) and I talked to Celsa in billing for about 45 minutes with no resolution, I then asked for a Supervisor in billing and was connected to Frejai for another 30-40 minutes who then connected me to the Repair technician Hermanth- who went around in circles with this for another 30-40 minutes who then turned me over to Muralidhar-the Tech repair supervisor for another 30-40 minutes who then called me and connected us to Rej in billing....hmmm that is where I started out and by the third hour, yes it took 3 hours to convince these non-english speaking *** to give us a credit and we requested Reji to put in a formal complaint against the service man who charged us when he knew this was a faulty box and another formal complaint that we, loyal customers for years, should have never been inconvenienced in this way. IT WAS REALLY clear, we requested a credit because of their faulty equipment and protocols need to be re-evaluated for at home service fees and informing customers of any fees, they shouldn't be hidden. No LIve TV for a week!!!! They say fixed—yeah, if you like voices with blips in between every word and only for 10 minutes before going off again and waiting an hour on hold on the phone. Looking at Comcast. Has to be better!!!!

Horrible

I was not told by Verizon rep that frontier would be taking over. I was also promised a $400 gift card that I never recieved. The price of the monthly bill for 1 tv with eve, WiFi, and phone was not the price was not $100 as a high estimate according to rep. It was closer to $200 and kept going up even after the installation fees were over. I called every month from the beginning. I was told they would fix it. Then frontier took over and I had no idea that was happening. During the Verizon payments I received bills late and it wasn’t up on the web site. When the switch happened I I stopped receiving bill and when I called it took me to frontier. I spent several months being patient for their switch to work and the failed of the promises continued to get worse. When I did receive a bill it was to another costumer not me. When the site was finally workingthey were pentalizing me for being late. I continued to call. On top of this my name was incorrect and they didn’t fix it for several months. I spent a lot of time that was pretty much a waste on the home with both Verizon and frontier. The people were mostly nice. But nice doesn’t fix the problems. I was extremely patient and graceful with their switch. After almost a year I told them to cancel. I reiterated everything I was promised that wasn’t fulfilled and the increase of problems I was having with their service and promises. I told them since they didn’t send me the gift card which was promised every month that I called that they can use that to close out my account. They said I would receive a final Inquiry and Verizon’s equipment would be picked up. Neither of those happened. Now I have a penalty on my credit. From the beginning till a while after I closed the account I continued to get another customers bill, which I told them about and I returned to sender every time. Poor business manners and Horrible character. No integrity.

Worst Customer Service Ever!

My husband and I purchased a phone from verizon 2 years ago. After we got home, we relized that the phone would not turn on. We attepted to charge the phone, but nothing. So we went back to the verizon store in Ontario California only to have our account screwed up. After receiving a replacement, the sales clerk made the error of opening a second account. He was suppose to cancel the account on the first phone, not open a second one. How do we know? Because verizon customer service informed us of their error. So of course we then get told from the credit brewer we owe verizon $700 dollars for a second phone we do not have. After verizon realized they made the mistake, and confirmed they have the phone, we were told it will take 7 to 10 days to fix it. It has been 2 years of waiting for them to fix their mistake. Therefore, our credit report still shows we owe verizon $700 dollars. Now, my current phone needs to be upgrade which of course we can't do since our account with verizon is on hold. So we are currently paying a bill for a phone that only charges up to 50%. So now my husband been calling customer service to only be left on hold until he hangs up, or just avoid answering his call in general. With that being said, we are canceling our account with verizon, may even get a lawyer involved at this point to clear our credit. Never again will I go to verizon, or recommend them.

We switched from sprint to Verizon so I traded a iPhone 6s Plus in toward my first bill it’s been a week or so and no bill credit has been applied to my bill. So we went back to Verizon cellular sales in Brusly,Louisiana to see what was the problem and they stated it takes up to 2weeks to apply bill credit so I asked why wasn’t I told this while we was in store .They were so rude never will I go to a VERIZON CELLULAR SALES STORE .

Worst Company Ever

I had a service with Verizon for almost 1 year without contract and i had to move out of the country so i called to cancel 3 days after new cycle started. I spoke to the representative who told me that she would cancel the service and that i would have to wait for the remaining bill. When i received the bill it was for the full month so called in. I spoke to another rep who calculated the amount based on the 3 days i used and told me to pay. I paid and left the country. I recently return to USA for the holiday 4 days ago and got another bill for the remaining amount which was suppose to be removed. When i called customer service, bot the customer service and supervisor told that i am responsible for the remaining balance because i cancelled after clycle started. After two months and after cancel, they tell me that i cant do that mind you there is nothing on emails, mail nor the reps i spoke to mentioned that. The sup and customer were both rude and gave me an address to some guy in NJ to complaint. The worst company i have ever had to deal wit. I will be filling a complaint but not sure if makes i difference because i will be leaving the country on January 3 and i wont have access to get mail. This is beyond ridiculous. I wont be using Verizon, will stop my friends from using them and will definitely decline all my tenants from using them. They will not be placing a foot inside my property.

Customer service

Customer service over the festive period was anything but festive. Multiple agents all stating different things and disputing anyone would have said they said... fortunately no transcripts. The WORST customer service experience since moving to the US nearly 10 years ago. Arrogant and condescending. No sense of empathy just a drive to upsell me to a more expensive plan without listening to the specifics. The supervisor committed to get a 'Manager' to call me... but when I rang back they shared that no such comment had been added to the system. I suspect they were concerned that the service they had provided 'sucked'. I'll switch to an alternative provider once my iphone is paid off. If you are considering Verizon for cell usage... pick someone lese.

Verizon w/not let me canx service on 1 of 3 lines

Been with Verizon for 12 years. Son has grown up and gotten his own plan. Verizon has given me the run-around for 2 days and 5 customer service folks. I have 3 lines on the plan and only want to drop 1 of them. I'm so pissed now that I'm about to just canx my entire plan. Why do they make an easy process so damn hard. I owe nothing on his phone or line but they want to flip it to a prepaid and charge me $40. Nobody has an answer and just passes me to the next department and customer service rep. Verizon... you are becoming a huge disappointment.

Fraud charges on bill

5 yeard ago my wife and i had our cell phone service and a internet hot spot with verizon.After about a year they were billing us for the cell phones and 2 hot spots.I quickly notified a customer service rep. Whom after 1 hour confirmed that there were indeed someone elses hot spot being charged to us.We have her name and she said that a new corrected bill would be sent to us.The very next day our service was shut off completely.When i called them they gave me a warning to pay or it would be turned in to the credit bureaus! They can kiss my behind as this wad investigated by each State Attorneys offices for fraud billing so they will kiss my a.. Before i pay them anything.If this is still on my report after this next year, after 7 years its the consumers right to file a lawsuit against the company.
