This company does not stand by its products

Bought a Moto Z "Droid" through Verizon for $650. Switched to T-Mobile 2 months later. Although Verizon says that all of their phones are unlocked, Motorola says that the Moto Z Droid does not work with any other carrier than Verizon. Buyer Beware. DO NOT BUY A MOTOROLA PHONE FROM VERIZON.. Motorola would only replace the warranteed phone with another Verizon-only model. I will never buy ANYTHING from Motorola again. Motorola told me that while they advertise that the Moto Z is portable between carriers, that does not hold true to the Moto Z Droid. They also said that it was MY RESPONSIBILITY TO KNOW THAT THERE WAS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MOTO Z AND MOTO Z DROID. Really? #noMotorola

I made a payment to Verizon by mistake as I had a old FIOS account with them that was transferred to Frontier. I am unable to speak with anyone at Verizon finance to request a refund.

I made a payment through my bank account to a closed Verizon FIOS account on 12/17/17. I discovered the mistake and have contacted Verizon re obtaining a refund for my mistake. I was finally able to speak with a live person and explained the situation. This person could not transfer me to their finance dept as I do not have a current account so I could not request a refund. This rude person said they have no live customer service people, cannot transfer my call without a valid acct # and hung up on me. It crazy and their customer service is awful!!

Bad Customer Service

While at Costco..a kiosk for Verizon..a very rude, arrogant, tattoed man with the personality of an inmate..was rude, arrogant, and less than helpful with answering questions or info regarding phones..had to refer to fellow associate for answer..then after trying to activate phone 3 times..with no success...was extremely rude when I asked if he could not use a different computer or have someone else complete the order as he had tried 3 times with no success..at this the associate Mario was unable to hold his temper..told me I could do it if I thought I could get it done faster..and when I asked to speak to manager..at first stated he was the manager, but when further pressed..left the area, mind you crowded with customers, making a scene and being loud..stomped out of the area..leaving us all open mouthed and after waiting another 10 minutes..I left the store..this associate was unprofessional, has the appearance and attitude of an inmate to include tattooes on neck, slicked back hair, and less than professional appearance and attitude..it was not ok, embarrassing for myself, and uncalled for..if he has problem with knowing his job, or not liking to be addressed by a woman..that is his issue..but to treat a customer making a 1200.00 I Phone purchase this way is inexcusable and I will NOT being going back to that store..and will let all I know in my small town to do the same and as i have been in this town since birth, I have alot of friends and influence..and will purposely let them know the aggravation, lack of service, and condescending attitude they can expect from the Verizon Associate who looks like an inmate..pretends to be a manager..and definitely has issues with taking tips from females..this man needs training on the particulars of the products he is selling as well as on how to treat customers and avoid stomping off like a 3 year old when suggested to try a different method..totally unacceptable behavior...maybe Mario would be more comfortable working at a liquor store, or swamp meet..or somewhere where customer service is not expected..but for the price we pay for Costco membership, and the cost and price of new phone and contract...I would at least expect polite knowledgeable service..if nothing comes of this, at least I know it was documented and there are probably other complaints regarding Mario at Costco in Hanford, CA...and at some time..you will have to address the rude and unprofessional service provided by Mario..maybe a thorough background check would eliminate him immediately...I've worked in prisons for over 20 years..and the you can take the inmate out of prison..but not he prison out of the inmate...very disappointed, disgusted, and will NEVER return to Costco Verizon..and will continue to encourage my friends and associates to do the same...

I have not only been in Verizons store in SanAngelo,Tex but have listened to their rude, arrogant,and condescending

behavior,needless to say though attempting to give a chance to this Company I have three corporations that does not tolerate rudeness.Why does Verison tolerate it. Letters are going out by the hundreds regarding my personal experience. By the way I thank God that Sprint is alive and well and customer care is indeed most important part of the 3rd largest cellular Company in U.S.

Can't use tablet because of data cost

Got 2 tablets 2 years ago. Shortly after figured you would have to spend a lot of money buying data to use these tablets away from the house. Today marks 2 years we are headed to verizon to drop the tablets. I am going to pay cash for a tablet to use around the house using my router and purchase data from whoever when out of town.

Useless!

Our internet went out, we called and reported it and they shut our internet completely off and sent a technician to add a new line, not what we needed! Mixed up our accounts and said it would be fixed the following day. Did not happen, called again, same thing, did not happen. All in all, we were given 8 dates and nobody ever came. Took off work and spent several hours on the phone. As of now we still have no service. Today alone I got 3 different times that it would be on by. I was refused a supervisor until I demanded it, then he was as helpful as everyone before him. I have been lied to, placated and treated like a moron. The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with!

Been with Verizon 20 Years new $40 unlimited is a LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been a loyal customer of Verizon for 20 years . I pay my bills on time and realize I have paid more than I should have over the years but the coverage was better for my location , So I lived with it. I recently changed my plan to the $40 unlimited plan . My bill was $220 a month which included three lines and three phone payments. I paid the three phones off and the bill should have dropped to $120 a month . I added a line for my youngest son so the bill should have went to $160 plus the $31.00 a month for his phone so $191 plus some taxes per month. So lets say taxes are a high 10% so $210 for the bill. My first bill was $ 442.16 I went back to the store talked with them , called the help line after a 45 min hold and a 40 min walk threw they were nice enough to fix my bill to the correct amount. I was told that it was taken care of, I paid my bill while I was on the phone ( had to be sent to another person) . I was told my bill would be $198 from here on out. I got my bill again $334.66 I have called and have been told my bill will be $255 every month . Why can I just not have what I signed up for and not have to call about my bill every month.

Verizon Fios Worst experience of my life and in the end cancelledt on roof, which I was able o do so myself no snow.

Obtaining Verizon Pfios was the worst experience of my life and a complete waste of my time. It started with a bundle pack @***.99 tv/internet/telephone, which after all the add ones I was up to 168.00.The first installer came inspected, clearly didn’t want to do the install disappeared for 2 hours only to text me to say he would be back tomorrow since it just snowed and he could not get on the roof which I was able to easily do myself. The next day I waited no show only to be told it was postponed. The second installed was suppose to be there at 12 noon he called at 4 to say he was running late and would be another hour or so. I asked him how was he going to do a new install in the dark, he said he had it down as adding 2 new boxes. The next installed came and had me down again as a added service and said he didn’t have the equipment to do the job. The next installer came and said I will install it but your wiring needed RG6 and if they did the run it’s 100.00 a run and I would need 6 that’s 600.00.if I didn’t the reception would be terrible. At this point I was going to do just telephone/internet. I had the time to run my own cabling so When I called back to add the tv, they wanted to raise my original bill from 168.00 to 229.00 since I cancelled the originall tv service and the promo ended. So I after all that no Verizon and a complete waste of time.

They give me date and time for the installation between 10 am - 12 noon nobody show up. No phone call no e-mail about what happened. I decided to call Verizon customer service to find out what going but I don’t get any good answer. A very poor customer service I experienced.

Lies lies and more lies

I upgraded to a new device on Black Friday 2016. I have been with Verizon for years and so has my company that has 86;000 devices and service through Verizon. There was a promotion to turn in droid turbos and receive a new one for 5 dollars a month. The sale guy went to his manager and said although my phone was only a droid I still qualified. I had to pay off my phone before I could trade it in. I paid almost $ 400.00 and gave them my old phone. The promotion was to take place in 2 billing cycles but guess what it never did. They were not suppose to give me the promotion since my phone was not on the list but since they took my phone and $ 400.00 they were granting it. Every single month since 2016 I have to call and spend hours on the line to tell them this exact story to credit my account. Every month they tell me there are no notes so I have to go through this every time for them to pull up and find that promotion and then credit my account. They tell me each time it is fixed and of course again when I get bill the promotion has fallen off. I get paid $50:00 an hour which I lose once a month for two hours which totals $100.00 because they can’t get their crap right. I will never use them again and since I am an Executive for one of the largest software companies in the world, I will also not have my organization renew our contract. Sick of it..

Lies, Lies, Lies

(1) We switched our wireless service from Sprint to Verizon after a promise of a $500 gift card to offset Sprint termination charges. Never received any "gift card" or offset to our monthly bill. Now we have problems with Sprint. (2) We acquired FiOS wireless for streaming television and wi-fi use. At that time we were promised that we would receive all local channels and could sign up for NFL and NESN services. We do not get any local channels unless we install a digital antenna and even then receptions spotty. As for the NFL in particular, it is only available if you have cable tv installed which also seems to apply for many other "free" channels. (3) Verizon Wireless is absurdly expensive. (4) For television service there is no competition, therefore it's a monopoly.

Lied to about everything

I called Verizon for home service net,phone and Tv I was told I’v got Fios at my house I found out that I don’t they sent a DSL modem also told me that I would get NFL ticket with Directv free I didn’t get it with the package I was sold and that I would receive a $100 check card I did not receive it I sent everything back a few days later because it was nothing I ordered and the phone was local calls only and the DSL never worked properly I was not going to pay anything because it wasn’t working and it’s not what I wanted at all I was lied to about 3 different things so they ruined my credit because I didn’t send them $74 I never used their services because it never worked properly they tried to get my money and didn’t care I was lied to and told me what ever I wanted to hear they lied and my credit is ruined that’s not good business I will never use Verizon for any other reason for anything ever again
