Bad signal no signal the norm

It has happened ever since i moved from Goshen, IN. to Warsaw, IN. I pay over $100 a month for *** service! I have called the help line at least 10 times in 3 years and I'm tired of it! I'm giving them this month to resolve the problem or I'm going elseware! Every time i call they go through the same damn steps and it never ever helps! I have went in to the verizon store and got a new simcard, didnt help! I know what it is! Its the friggin towers! Maybe they need repaired or replaced or upgraded or some damn thing but verizon doesnt want to spend the money so I'm out! Ive had enough! Ive been with them probably 20 years and i pay out the *** for *** service! Its been 3 and a half years i have lived here and still nothing done! Enough is enough! Angry

Phone Rebate

Went from US Cellular to Verizon, Demming Way, Middleton, WI, only for International calling. Turned phones in for $600 rebate for my family. Less than an hour later, found a better deal, so I went to return the phones and take this deal. HUGE MISTAKE!!! SHOULD HAVE CALLED THE POLICE!!! The Store Manager charged me for restocking fee, and never gave me my phone back that I was going to get a rebate on...and told me "I will never recieved the rebate!!! Clearly, not Customer Oriented! This guy was the worst I've ever met! His staff was befuddled with the way he treated me!!! Get local government help if you ever need to take on one of these Corporate Giants! Most Corporations DON'T care about you, just their income, and what they can steal from you. Still wondering what he did with my Minor daughters phone!!! {{Redacted}}

Worst customer service

I just wanted to add a new number and plan to my family plan. I did not want a new phone device, or a sim card. Just a new number and plan. How hard is it to understand. For some reason this rep. ordered a new device, sim card and number. Only 2 weeks later when Verizon emailed me saying my order was on its way, I realized that, also they were charging me $30 a month postpaid. My whole family plan is pre paid!. So I use the app to chat with somebody to cancel it. After 1.30, being trasfered to 4 diferent reps, who asked the same security questions to finally give me a number which has no fraud option, I managed to speak to another rep who put me on hold many times and after 30 min. on the phone, promised her manager would call me back. Guess what...she never called back. The most frustrating thing is nobody knew what to do, transferred me multiple times to other reps who had no idea where to transfer me and got rid of me giving me this stupid number. And they keep saying:" We understand your frustration". Hopeslly, I tried the chat again and finally Anna, knew what to do, tracked the order and told me simply not to activate it and return it. How simple solution was that? Am definitely, switching to T-Mobile or att.

Verizon sent a text pictured below Saying they have our back.. since we were going thru a disaster (Hurricane Lane) effective thru Aug 28 we would have unlimited talk, text, data for the affected zip codes... We were in the zip code but our data kept going down.. so we called customer service and they said we need to exhaust our data to receive this benefit.. Now they tell us.. very deceiving ad and not attached fine print.. there needs to be laws protecting the consumer stating that these companies need to state all the fine details... and if they fail to do so they need to pay all consumers. Verizon also throttled the Santa Clara County Fire Department’s supposedly “unlimited” data plan while the agency was fighting the record wildfires.. they keep doing it because they are not held liable for these deceptive practices.. I know it's buyer beware but there needs to be detailed info readily available attached to each ad.

Alfonso should be fired

Nasty rep named Alfonso. Two land lines that we have been paying an arm and a leg for since about 1998. One has static only. One has dial tone and lots of noise on the line. Called Verizon customer service line 5 days in a row, about 10 attempts each day from the one with the dial tone. Verizon genie will only connect me to moving services. Finally get a rep by pretending I want to move, having moving services connect me to tech support/repairs. On the phone comes Alfonso. Tells me there is a lot of noise on the line--no *** sherlock, that is why I am calling. Tells me he can't help me until he has a look at the details of the plans for both lines. What this means is I have to try to let him sell me fios. I do this, then explain to him, as I have explained 10 times to other Verizon reps, that it is copper wire and DSL or else I am calling the cable company because our street is pre-wired for cable, not for fios. Gets really nasty, tests two lines, has to call me back on my cell phone to test the line I called him on. Tells me both lines test with shorts. Meantime every other word on my cell phone is inaudible and he starts asking crazy questions about fences and gates. I can't understand what he is asking so I can't answer. He tells me because I am not answering he cannot create repair tickets. He is speaking with an accent and too fast, and with the cell phone dropping out there is no way I can know what he is asking. Finally he creates repair tickets for about a week from now. Seriously? When I ask to speak with supervisor, he says if I do that he will refuse to submit repair tickets. I am now on hour 3 for today, hour 10 overall trying to reach Verizon. So, I let him make me beg him to put in the repair tickets. After I do that I tell him I would still like to get in touch with customer service. Remember, I cannot contact Verizon except through the genie and by telling the genie I am moving, which I am not. I tell him I want customer service because I want a credit on my accounts for two phone lines that are not working and have not been working for some time and will not be working for some time because Verizon cannot be bothered to make repairs. They can only be bothered to take our money. He gives me the same Verizon number that I have called about 200 times in the past week. He is useless, Verizon is a pack of thieves. I really hope this company fails big time and that workers like Alfonso get what they deserve. Oh, and after this phone call, I got an email from Verizon suggesting that everything will be better if I use the FiOs App to contact them. Hey jerks, I dont have FiOs! I am not only going to cancel my two landlines, I am going to cancel my Verizon cell phones as well. Then I am going to switch my parents off of Verizon, then I am going to switch my parents in law off of Verizon. This is a company with zero respect for its customers.

Phone rip off

Purchased a phone. Was told mobile hot spot was free. Got my bill, was charged for a second line, jetpack access fee and extended warranty NONE of which i authorized. Very dishonest

Their customer service is patronizing and cheap sales talk.

In may I received a call from Verizon regarding free movie channels for 90 days. Well the day when to cancel is coming up I want to make sure I am not charged for the service. I was not sure if this was FiOS or the wireless side. We never received the channels. I called the FiOS side and they stated they did not have that offer. I chatted on line with a clown named Charley who was giving a lot of sales talk and was very patronizing. It got to the point I told him another patronizing sales comment I will be talking to his supervisor. Verizon wireless does not give a log of calls and does not keep the chats. It also signed off before I could copy and paste the conversation on the chat. I will be calling in the morning to complain about their service. my wife wants their service for the cell phones. Personally Verizon sucks because their customer service cannot cover wireless and fios. Customer service should be one call not waiting on hold for 10 minutes. I also demanded to be compensated at least $ 50 the long hold times.

Verizon sucks *** and are to high for their awful service

I've been out of work for surgery for 3 months and received short term disability. Everyone knows on short term disability you don't get paid as much, I've been paying Verizon what I could give them because I do have other bills that are way more important than a phone bill like my mortgage and car note. I paid version what I could and phone was turned off after a customer service rep told me that as long as I pay my phone should stay on but it's not. I will be going to another company I would rather have cricket then version.

Have had nothing but trouble with the service. Have been with Verizon now about 11 years and this year the STB's keep *** the bed. And instead of sending out someone to service the system (I pay about $200 a month for this *** I'm told that I should be able to straighten this crap out. This week was the 3rd box that I finally got them to swap out for me (brand new!) and I set it up only to get an error code that stops me from getting it to work. When I try to call their tech support I'm placed on hold for at least 20 minutes. I think it's time to switch to Cox
