Absolute disregard for customer privacy concern as well as inaccurate info provided

issues since day 1 called one week in, regarding settings on phone, and wanted to know why my password would always require changing even after onewalk hour. Claimed they were so secure. nope nope nope, 5 years later realized our daughter has been hacking phones since she was 12. the last 6 mos called over 20 times and visited 4 strores, 3 stores told me husband is lying and today a store person killed the deal. WE know now our daughter has infiltrated our whole life, starting with verizon. 3 weeks no fixes, all kinds of different answers and 1 line usble out of 4. But the store told me to day not to worry about my phones take care of my derelict daughter. I about snapped, and he again couldnt help us. Even though corporate fraud dept assured they could. I am in tears its bad enough to have these feelings of contempt for my child who has been our nightmare with absolute zero help from anyone. Oh i tried getting help, but when she is running 6 burner phones and keeps accessing our account making her dad and I fight the last thinkg i needed after spending 3 weeks to attempt at fixing is another jerk at verizon to waste my time but to degrade my parenting. I have called about text mssgs coming in all at once for the week, not getting calls, calls going to voice mail, Password always being wrong about iphone being cloned. Finally when we found a diffenent imei number on your app, then what in phone and apple, we had a start. 3 weeks ago. daughters i phone she used that we are paying for locked and i just needed a receipt and roles corrected on my verizon. they were changed for safety but not in anyway we requested. 55 tries later walked out in tears and left the piece of crap on counter. I am filing for a separation, they are not my phones technically, nor do i want them. I didnt want this company from get go, your family parent plan useless with i phone,we havent received one iota of intel to run our business since 2/2 thanks to verizon. i will live in a shelter before i would ever use your service again and that means xfinity can walk out of my life too. 5 years into your plan and you have allowed my life to be ruined! Lack of security made my daughter a phone junkie, and she moved out 6 mos ago, because i was making her get her boyfriends phone out She made a *** cops had her phone one month into iphone plan. cops had it i never gave it back. NOw locked but you guys have fouled this up so bad that easier to start over and dispute any bills from verizon God knows i have a paper trail too,

DSL disconnected for no reason - 3 Months and 8+ hours of calls

Verizon is the only internet service provider in my area outside of Satellite so I signed up for DSL service which maxes out at about 5GB/s down at $100 a month. I have autopay setup and am current on all my bills. 2 Months ago, my internet suddenly stopped working and after 2 hours on the phone troubleshooting they sent a technician. He inspected the house, all was good. Went back to their "field office" and found that someone had physically disconnected the part of my service that was supposed to provide DSL. He couldn't figure out why but the only way to get it connected was to call the main office. I called 3 times, the first time, I got a woman who hung up on me when her house phone rang. Finally, talked with a person - spent 2 Hours on the phone with billing and they transfer me to technical support. 4 Hours on the phone with technical support and they can't figure it out - they put in a ticket and will call me in 3 days. No call after 3 days so I call back - 2 more hours on the phone, I finally get someone who will put in a ticket to have it turned back on. I get a service appointment for Friday by 5pm - great! Friday at 5pm, still no internet so I called again, someone from dispatch answered quick and said it would happen in the CO (central office) by 7pm. Next morning...no internet. So I called again, I explained my story which - at this point is getting really long. The first person - "Oh sorry, I only handle FIOS internet, you have to talk to another department". He tried to transfer me but it took too long waiting on hold - it's clear their time is worth more than mine - so I continue to hold on my own. 2nd department answers, I explain my story - they see the notes, they understand and connect with someone in the "Orders" department. Turns out the person 3 days ago put in a Change order but it needed to be a New order? WHAT? So he is going to connect both of us with Orders and get this figured out. I sit on hold with him for 30 minutes when suddenly I've been transferred to a different department - they have no idea why I'm here and can't connect me with the guy I was talking to. Surprisingly, when I said, "I can't handle this anymore please cancel my service", they got that done super quick. Wish it could have been that way for the last 2 Months of no service and 8+ hours of my time. Ultimately they issued a credit for the time I didn't have service but that's nothing compared to the frustration and wasted time.

Internet not working installed a couple of weeks ago

I need to call them again. More issues internet works sporadically. I really need it to work all the time. I was to get a free live stream tv device but needed to order it on laptop which didn't work. Ordered on phone and got charged 80.00. I need a credit. Also they sent cable boxes no cable to tvs. Plus I still need to get my gift card So not happy yet. Can't talk to a real person

Verizon keeps adding 20. per line for late charges causing my bill to soar even tough they made an agreement with me to return 5 months. It took hours to finally talk with a human being who could reason and help. How can they get away with this? This is what happens when things are unregulated. Corporations get greedier. They should only be allowed to charge an amount for the account being late rather than per line. What if I had six people on my account? That would be 120$ for being a half day late. Verizon used to be a good company. Now I look at them as greedy cheaters!

It’s been 6 months and a lot has happened.... Verizon scheduled an appointment to finally send someone to once again replace my boxes...

I let the tech in... the living room one was up and running..

Tech was working in the bedroom and had been there a long time..

Finally he came out mentioned it was still downloading and would be another 15 min....

I went in later that evening and it was still saying another 15 minutes...

Another call to Verizon with FaceTime so they could see. Guy on the phone didnt believe what I was saying couldnt believe it..

Well it was true and he scheduled another appointment for me..

To make this all worse is when they called to get a review on the tech I had given him a raving review....

Supervisor called me to thank me for the review I then explained that the kid left the box in the bedroom unfinished... that I was putting a complaint on the guy... He told me he would have someone at my home in 30 minutes..

they were here.

The first tech put in a broken box and just left it.. neither tech went downstairs tried to really find out what was causing the problems in the first place...

Hey it is another 6+ months and still caller Id still doesnt work...

Services are still coming and going..

But to call a tech well they dont want to do anything either but collect a pay check...

Its a sad situation when they keep raising my bill and Im not getting the services Im paying for..

Cant get help and keep calling to get the services up and running... the work for a couple hours then stop so dont know what to do but keep writing the checks until I stop lol

From Jan 28 to March 1 I have been dealing with this bad service company. They made mistake after mistake till I finally had enough. I ordered two phones. They sent one. They kept telling me the 2nd phone is in the mail. Finally one told me the truth. They want more money. No. Not gonna happen. I am not paying the bill...keeping the phone they sent and going to Metropcs. Why lie for over a month? Trust me. Stay away from Verizon. They will rip you off and lie to you. iPhone is rip off too. Apple thinks they are the best. Not! Maybe at ripping you off.

I just bought the new i12 at the Verizon store in Grandville mi. The kid I was forced to deal with could not answer any question I had. Then he tried to shuffle returned merchandise off on me. I just wish that there was a Verizon dealer around with normal people working in it.

Being Charged Early Termination Fee after Rep told me I wouldn't

I was directed to use the chat option online when I called Verizon after a more than a difficult installation that took two visits, (not difficult on my end, the tech screwed up the installation and left me with no services at all) meaning I lost an additional day of pay than should be expected for a utility installation, and then I got the run around every time I attempted to get resolution and reimbursed for the time that I was completely out of service. I eventually got fed up because I was being so poorly treated after being a customer for over 20 years and requested from the representative that I was chatting with that he confirm that if I canceled my account I would still be covered under a 30-Day Satisfaction guarantee. He confirmed that I was, so I proceeded to cancel my services. I am now being billed the entire $350 and all anyone can say is I understand your position, but there is nothing we can do, and there is no way for us to examine the chat logs. (so why do you maintain them and record them by number?) I have maintained all chat logs because I copied them into a Word document (mysteriously the log disappeared). When I contact Verizon now to complain that I was misled by the representative that they had me deal with through the chat because upon calling you are directed to use the chat. At no point did the chat representative say there was no policy, in fact he stated You contacted to know about the start date of the contract and I confirmed that it was 09/01/2020 and the disconnection date is within the 30 days from the start of contract and you may call our cancellation team if you need to update the cancellation date for later time of this month. I hope I have answered all your questions and provided you five star service!!" I don't feel that a company should be permitted to let their agents misrepresent facts that others make decisions based upon, and then the consumer is the one left holding the bag. In the last insult to injury, I was informed that my only remedy is to hire an attorney and go into mediation with Verizon.
