Verizon has turned me over to a collection agency. I have no recourse, I'm so mad that they can expect to pay this.

Verizons says I owe money for renewal, turned me over to collection agency!

After receiving another letter from the collection agency, so mad that this is not resolved. I called Verizon one more time and reviewed my issue with them.

The rep was very nice and understood my frustration, but said they couldn't/wouldn't do anything to help me.

This online policy shouldn't be allowed, I'm sure other people have made the same mistake. They had to pay the price or watch their credit go down the tubes.

After 3 years with Verizon all my discounts were ending. I went up online to see if I could keep Verizon and lower my bill. I hit the button that signed me up for another contract. There is NO reverse button so I've made several phone calls trying to reverse the signup and they say I'm responsible for early termination charge of $350. They are worst than a loan shark. They have turned me over to a collection agency who want $270. from me. I'm so tired of big business pushing the little guy around. I have no recourse?

CABLE TV MOVIES ON DEMAND RIPOFF

We bought a home in Ashburn, and since I had Verizon before leaving the USA for Argentina, I got Verizon again [triple pay, TV, Internet, cable] and I got immediately charged for movies I did not order, nor did I watch. I have Netflix and amazon prime, plus I buy constantly 4K DVDs. Why should I pay for a kid's movie $29.99? For that I can buy the 4K DVD. BTW, it is only my wife, mother in law - who does not speak, read, write or understand English. I made a claim immediately and it was never resolved, on the contrary. They kept robbing me. Finally after an eight months struggle, a minion working for a VP said they would not credit me. I have to pay a penalty for leaving them... Do you know of a class action lawyer to sue these cable robbers?

The new boxes don’t work!

Installed 8 new talk to remotes & boxes. THEY DO NOT WORK, DONT GET THEM. This morning the 5th tech will be coming out to fix the same problems. Our TV service was ok before these new boxes were installed. TV Goes on by itself, remotes just stop working Remotes don’t work even if you try to reprogram Told problem is in the system yet they can’t fix it. Odd messages come out such as no coax when the same tv has been working in the same spot for a long time. Every time I speak to customer service that tv ends up with a blank screen. Can’t understand customer service 4 out of 5 times. Once in a while you don’t get India. I don’t care who I talk to just need to understand them. At least 35 minutes on hold then 1 1/2 hours trying to fix the problems. Techs aren’t readily available. Techs say they brought these out too soon before they fixed the problems. I think they need to replace them. No clock on them. Must be CHEAP and they stuck us with them.

Almost as bad as comcast!

I have called to get my phone replaced for the last 4 days and have had to wait for 1/2 an hour only to get transferred around and waste another 1/2 hour and have the phone call drop never receive a call back and have to start all over again. They have lied to me, cut me off and much more!

Incompetent service reps and ridiculous billing

Without notice increasing monthly bills, each time you call, if you can understand the representative, you get a different story. Unfortunately, Verizon or Cox deliver internet so … you get taken by one or the other. Even the people that work at these companies are aware of the awful service, customer dis-satisfaction and high rates. And..... when I switched over to Verizon Fios and wireless, I never received the $200 gift as promised in their adds.

My recent conversation with Cel... Cel...: WhatsApp will work from Austria to France for instance. It works everywhere provided that you have the WiFi - for instance if you go to Starbucks in Germany you can have it for free. Me (Verizon customer): Generally you are correct Cel.... But in this instance corporate greed interferes with that. When you sign up for a Verizon travel plan they will only allow free WhatsApp calls between US and country you are visiting but will charge if you call a different country. They know of course that travellers have to call other countries to confirm reservations, reach relatives, etc., and Verizon is cashing in on that by charging even for WhatsApp calls. The details are in the Verizon link I sent. Now, usually companies try to attract customers with perks and Verizon wants to get rid of customers it seems. This will be one of them in the near future.

I don't know the PIN my dead husband used to set up account

My husband died almost 4 years ago. When he set up the Verizon account, he never told me the PIN or wrote it down. We had a joint account. Verizon told me countless times that without the PIN nothing could be done to change the account. After enduring receiving a bill every month with my husband's name on it, I switched to AT&T. (I know, some people don't like them either). Verizon continues to bill me after I switched (kept my number too) and now threatens to report my unpaid bill to the credit reporting agencies. Here's what they should have done: Close the account and open a new account with my name only. The PIN was their hang-up. Verizon would not change anything unless I told them the PIN. Not sympathetic to the fact that the only person who knew PIN was dead. Of course, Verizon knows the PIN and probably was laughing at me for not knowing it. Here's what Verizon did: Kept account as it was with Husband's name on it, continued to bill me for almost 4 years after his death (I was still a Verizon customer until March 2019 and paid promptly every month) I switched to AT&T in March 2019. Verizon keeps billing me. I refuse to pay. I have called and written letters. I told them the date I switched and refused to pay for service after that date - service I have not received from Verizon. Don't waste your time with this company.

Send me a final bill for Feb. 23, 2019 through March 11, 2019 (date I switched to AT&T). Billing me for anything after March 11, 2019 is fraud on Verizon's part. Verizon is trying to collect money from me for services they have not provided.

My family and I had a terrible experience with the Verizon Wireless Store at the Westfield Mall in Trumbull, CT. We spoke on the phone with Verizon the night before and this store was supposed to hold 3 cellphones for us to ice up the following morning. When the 3 of us arrived at the store, the female sales rep said that they did not HOLD phones. She proceeded to try to upgrade our usage plan and focus on other questions. She was rude, condescending, unhelpful and had a bad attitude. She claimed to be very busy (2 other people in the store and another rep. She needs to retire). We walked out after 20 minutes, went to the apple store, bought 3 phones and 2 computers. THEY were awesome. What were we thinking?

I've had there service less than a week and it's garbage Signal is so weak it makes using phone or data near impossible. I catch myself wanting to throw phone involuntarily from frustration I know there's nothing Verizon would do if I asked. Customer service has gone to *** with any business lately. Do yourself a favor go elsewhere. Don't get a contract Don't give credit info Cause if service sucks your out slot more than my 80 bucks

Verizon customer service misrepresent policy to obtain another payment

I spoke with a rep. and was told i would recieve credit for my unused days service i was paying for 1 week before i moved. I was also told 1 month after i moved that the credit would appear the following billing period. I will be cancelling my current fios service as soon as i can get comcast at my house i will never use verizon again.

I can't understand the Verizon representatives I have to speak to whenever I need something. Plus, they can't understand me. Between the auto operator and the person who fields the call, a simple call becomes a frustrating and time-consuming process. I am really tired of calling India, Philippines, Mexico. Bring these jobs back to the US. Disclaimer: I have profound respect for all people and absolutely nothing against the nations and people mentioned above.

No Service for elderly and blind

Verizon has disconnected service with my parents phone with promises of repairs and service for two and a half weeks now and to call their robot 1-800 number It's a nightmare there's no reply and when you finally reached the service repair center you're given a prompt that due to high column volume errors we cannot take your call now I am sick and tired of Verizon but is there any thing that we can do on Long Island to ban And Sue this monopolizing giant

I have been trying to get into my account to find out if I paid my monthly bill. The automated voice will give me a temp code/ It doesn't work, That is FOUR times now. I finally got onto the website, but I apparently pressed the keys wrong because I know my best friend for over 30 yrs. I have been a Verizon customer for about 30 yrs.
