Stay away from GREG

Greg at the Lakeland, Florida store on S.Fla Ave. was the rudest customer service rep I have ever encountered. ZERO people skills. You don't ask customers (I'm 63) if they are still driving. You don't refer to them as the "older generation" that knows nothing about technology. You don't roll your eyes and continually shake you head side to side. You don't act irritated when we don't know our password off the top of our heads and had to take phone home and set up ourselves. He, I might add, is the idiot who carries all his passwords on a sheet of paper in his wallet...ROLLING MY EYES!! You can and should do better in hiring people. As my husband said, "we have already forgotten MORE than that man will ever know!" He is a classic example of what is wrong in society.

Can't believe them

Verizon told me that my bundle for internet and a lan line was the cheapest out there at $90/mo but I found one for $30/mo. They kept renewing me for 3 years; lying every time I asked if there was a lower rate. Thank God my sister told me of someone else. Verizon stole $1200 from me over 2 years. Shocked

I just called Verizon again and for the 5th time they have moved the restorel date from tomorrow 11/22/19 to 12/22/19. This is outrageous as I haven’t had service since June 2019, so that will be 6 months without service. Verizon is not putting their money towards this...

I'M IN JERSEY CITY, NJ..AND MY EXPERIENCE W/VERIZON HAS BEEN MOST EXCELLENT! MY POWER WENT OUT FOR A FEW HOURS, FORTUNATELY I GOT A CUSTOMER SERVICE REP NAMED ABBY P., WHO WAS OUTSTANDING, IF SHE CALLED ME ONCE SHE CALLED ME 20X OVER THE WEEKEND NO LESS! JUST CAN'T PRAISE HER ENUF..THANKS

Dont use them

verizon use to be great, but since ive moved, they are charging me for home phone service that i do not have or never asked for. but yet they keep moving me from one person to another but no one will fix thier screw up. i dont trust them at all, my bill was susposed to be 44.99 and its gone u p till its now 88.00 mostly for a service i dont have very disappointed in verizon

Cell phone service great, FIOS home internet part of company is horrible!!

Any time i have a problem with home FIOS internet service, i spend at least 1-2 hours on hold waiting to talk to someone, even if they say the estimated wait time is 7-9 mins. There is always a lot of hassle, and automated directions to go through steps i've already gone through- multiple times. Just very frustrating. Resolution to problems does not happen quickly. I never experience this with my verizon phone plan- have had that over 10 years with zero complaints. Not sure what is wrong with the FIOS/internet part of the company. More than ready to switch providers!!

Avoid if possible, but in so many areas (like this one), there's no choice.

I had a "bundle"with Verizon: Home phone (local, regional & long distance) & DSL. With a new job, I recently needed to upgrade my internet, so I dropped the DSL & went with the only broadband available localled (Verizon's vaunted FIOS is not available here). When I called Verizon to drop the DSL I was told I'd loose all "discounts," to the effect that I now have MUCH LESS Verizon service (no DSL, no long distance), but how much less am I paying? $2 per month, so I'm down to $57/month from $59/month. I'm sorry, this is not the loss of a so-called "discount; it's predatory pricing.

Christopher Tyson

Christopher was a detailed Sales Representative at the Lee Blvd Fairfax VA location. Ge did not rush me, answered all my questions, transferred my files and apps, and thought me how to play with my cell new phone. He was pleasant and knowledgeable and made the sale stress free. Great asset for that location.

Verizon is a crook

After receiving another letter from the collection agency, so mad that this is not resolved. I called Verizon one more time and reviewed my issue with them. The rep was very nice and understood my frustration, but said they couldn't/wouldn't do anything to help me. This online policy shouldn't be allowed, I'm sure other people have made the same mistake. They had to pay the price or watch their credit go down the tubes. Original review posted by user Jun 24 After 3 years with Verizon all my discounts were ending. I went up online to see if I could keep Verizon and lower my bill. I hit the button that signed me up for another contract. There is NO reverse button so I've made several phone calls trying to reverse the signup and they say I'm responsible for early termination charge of $350. They are worst than a loan shark. They have turned me over to a collection agency who want $270. from me. I'm so tired of big business pushing the little guy around. I have no recourse? Reason of review: Poor customer service. Monetary Loss: $270. Preferred solution: I owe them nothing. take me back from collection agency.. Verizon Cons: Pushed button on internet new contract, There is no reverse or delete button.

I have never had bad treatment from Verizon till now

i went to the store on Sratfor Road in Winston Salem to purchase a apple phone since you where doing the 200 trade in I had a note 8 perfect condition, but thats not issue as much as one of your represenitive of verizon came over to help ( i thought) told him i was looking for the apple phone11's he said why do i want to go to apple that i had a better phone?...because i want one again he said i had a good one by this time i was showed nothing about the 11"s explained it to me etc... a black girl came in and he left me went to her and left me standing, my husband said what the heck...i said well i thought we got away from being a different color i am white he was black and racist actions from your store has really ticked me off, i have been with verizon since 2013 i wont havter this incident after i went through pure heii and numerous times on the phone to verizon and you can see that when you pulled up my account, i guess i will leave after this horriable experience and will not recommen you to anyone just tell them my expierence and advise them to go somewhere else...they should have paid me for all they put me through they dont have their advertised colors, wanted me to drive 50 miles to get a phone list goes on...not wasting time with it all

Discrimination and bad service

I went to a virzon store off Straford road in Winston Salem to update my phone and have never in my life saw such horriable treatment, I walked over to a black guy for help and asked to see the new apple phone;s since they where on sale and get 200.00 off my note 8, he said why would you want to trade for an apple that note 8 was much better I said because I want to, well as I started looking at the apple phone a black lady came in store and he left me standing to go wait on her, I mean I didn't realize Verizon was like this , I was very upset and yes I did call corprate office and told them of this, I wont resign with them again and I have been with them every since 2013...never was late on payments , just guess they choose to treat you as if you aren't going anywhere but I definitely wont do a resign with them, watch where you go, the customer service is not there, good luck if you do

Horrible Service. No phone or internet for 5 months!!!! No resolve,10 restore dates that never happen. Outrageous!

I lost my landlijne phone on 6/18/19 and my DSL on 9/1. Have been promised at least 10 restore dates and my service is never restored. They don't care about their copper-wire customers but instead of cancelling the service they just pretend like they are fixing it. I'm so mad and frustrated that nobody is held accountable for their horrible Customer Service. I call and call and wait 20, 30, 40 minutes for a straight answer and they tell me the cable dept is still working on it... for 5 months? that's insane! Nobody is working on it because it's only 54 customers. They don't care about 54 customers! They should be fined, sued, and made accountable for abusing their loyal customers. I want my service restored ASAP

Where should I start, They are scam artists, and have tried their best to ruin my credit. But I did not let them win. Absolutely the nastiest company i have ever dealt with in my entire life. I would be very careful, they will sneak fees in on you, if they add anything to your account by law they need your 4 digit code or log in. If they do not get this information without this, seek arbitration or file a civil lawsuit and report them and report them to the FCC. If you click into their link to see their arbitration process.. the link is expired. Just be careful. They have received over $10,000 from me in 2 years, causing me much stress and worry about not only my service but reporting my credit. You will not receive credit for anything and they do not work with you at all. You are best to stay away and hopefully many people like me will sue them and they will eventually crumble. I pray for this. Karma will get them and i'm quite sure the owners have horrible rich lives. I wish the worst upon them. I cannot seem to understand how they get away with this... but you know how? Rushing service workers so you do not read the fine print....

FIOS TV channel features are unsatisfactory.

Sometime this past week my FIOS features on the channel selector turned worthless. The channel selector features, that I have had for years and years, no longer work. I have to commit channel number and station ID to memory as they don't show up on the screen. My selectors for GUIDE and INFO do not work. The clock function is not working. There's to much to type in this small block. How can I regain these functions.

Missing on demand features, guide and info at bottom of screen occur when set top box and router are not "talking" to each other. A VZ tech should visit to troubleshoot.
