There is no customer service at all.

I have tried a number of days in a row to get a live person at Verizon to question something on my bill. I get put on hold for over 40 mins (and this is right when they supposedly open at 8am), so it appears that they just put everyone on hold in the hopes that you give up and don't bother them on their all-day coffee breaks.

User's recommendation: Find another carrier.

Take off inquiry on credit report & tell me why your employees treat people horribly & are so unpro

No internet or landline

On 7-3-2020 I called an 800 Verizon number to restore service to my DSL landline phone and internet. I am 83 years old and live alone - no family - in the below the poverty line in Baltimore City. Soonest they can get someone to come out is 7-14-2020. I am going advertise on TV. Maybe that will put a fire under their rear. What a rotten company.

WHAT. A. MESS.

Verizon - WHAT. A. MESS.
My phone shattered. I ordered a new one with 2 day shipping. My receipt stated same day shipping. I thought that was odd. Then come a slew of unknown numbers calling and texting me about my Verizon order, telling me they're from Postmates and Verizon is closed on Sundays so they need me to cancel my order. I don't even have a Postmates account. What does Verizon have to do with Postmates, you ask? Well I had to talk to two different customer service agents to figure it the f out. Apparently Verizon is contracting with Postmates to do same day deliveries. Do customers know about that? Not at all. Was I warned I would be receiving texts or calls (to my shattered phone, I might add)? Not at all. Is this highly unprofessional protocol? Yes. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL Y'ALL. I talk to SIX DIFFERENT AGENTS over the past 24 hours, via their bullsh!t Live Online and via phone (using Google Voice, because again-- my phone is SHATTERED) and NOT ONE AGENT can problem-solve for *** it's like they're all 3RD GRADERS. I mean, no one is trying to figure out how I can cancel my order or adjust my order. No one is asking me what I need. No one is doing ANYTHING to get answers. I'm the one nudging them along to figure things out. Twice I've been on hold for OVER AN HOUR. Literally disgusting. I've worked in customer service for years (many of us Verizon customers have!) and I know I've been trained better than this! I swear, it felt like I was talking to people who don't have fully developed PRE-FRONTAL CORTICES. You hear me? Common sense isn't that hard, I promise. I've been a loyal Verizon customer for decades. Verizon should be EMBARRASSED by this lack of communication, accountability, transparency, and intelligence within its company. Truly embarrassed. Verizon has no formal complaints/feedback process, which is red flag #1. Staff have weird titles and have trouble coordinating with their teams. Literally such a mess. This was cathartic to write but I just need my phone.

Service tech comes out and tries to blame it on our equipment or something. Sometimes one is very helpful but look at the pictures of what Verizon gives us to work with.

All the connections are corroded and the wiring is a mess.

How can you get quality service out of something like that. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging over $300 a month.

3 year business customers at $330. They can't ever seem to get our internet to work running a business with multiple Wi-Fi devices it's down all the time. Check out these pics.

All lies about your cost of your service.

I was told by your sales agent that your service would not be much more costly than the one I was already using. Turns out your service was more than double what I was already paying for two lines from straight talk. And now I get a bill saying that I owe almost $400 after having my service disconnected. I am so disappointed in your service and sales people that I will never ever use your service again or recommend it to anyone else.

Denying repairs

On May 20, 2020 I purchased an Apple 11. I have a receipt that say I purchased an insurance policy to cover repairs. Today, July 3, 2020, the camera screen was damaged. I called Verizon to find out how to file a claim. They said I did not have damage coverage...but I have a receipt that says I do...it doesn't matter my screen says you don't...but I have a receipt...and on and on and on. Can I send you a copy of the receipt. No I don't have any way of receiving it. And it doesn't matter because you have never paid a monthly payment on the insurance. But, its only been a month... WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.

I have been a Verizon customer for 27 years, 6 months. I have 4 lines with Verizon. I need to upgrade 2 phones. They have a special on I phone 11, buy one full price ($700), get 1 free with new line. I do not need a 5th line. They would not wave the new line requirement to keep me as a customer. I spent 4 hours on the phone going round and round. At&;;T and Sprint have the same deal and I would be a new customer. Good by Verizon, nice knowing you...bad business decision.

Shipping of phones late

I'm still waiting to receive my overnighted phones from Thursdays online order....i paid extra to have next day delivery and its Saturday...Monday i might get them...I'm a new customer....i was told there is nothing they can do....ok now i have no phones two kids live it in the country...i guess I'll be sending smoke signals incase there's an emergency!!!! not happy

Fraudulent billing

I only had my FiOS Verizon account Opened for two months before my husband lost his job. We had to move from New York to PA and asked Verizon to transfer the account. They stated that they were not able to cover my area in PA. They were supposed to waive the early termination fee of $350 if they could not transfer. My monthly bill was supposed to be $141 per month and I only had the cable for two months and I made the first payment of $141 and the last payment of $288. I took all the equipment to the site in Manhattan that they told me to take. They also promised a gift card Visa of $250 for opening up an account with them which I never received. Now they have placed a charge of $410 on my credit report. I have called their office several times and have never been able to speak to anyone that can help me resolve this matter. If this doesnt get resolved soon I will be writing the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General regarding this unjust act. Julie

Ripped off

Canceled Verizon back in September because I got a new Internet carrier and they said we didnt cancel in almost a year now they have been bugging us to pay $129. I paid it today but I will never ever ever refer anyone to Verizon. They gave us a cancellation number and then they took it back and said we never canceled. Why would we have two Internet carriers. Verizon is the worst Internet you could have in your house that is
