Changed plan without permission

Asked for senior discount. My bill was $136.00 next thing I know it is $203.00 and they tryi ng to say a couple weeks later I asked for $203.00 package. Refuse to give me original package they say no longer available. I say good bye Verizon you stole the last dollar you will get from me

User's recommendation: Run before you buy telephone and stuck with company. Keep an eye on bill they slowly raise it always.

I never received a refund from Verizon.

I was due a $350 refund per Verizon when I cancelled my account. After several follow up calls with customer service all I received was a run a round. Verizon ended up blocking my phone calls and I never received a cent. What a poor way to do business.

User's recommendation: Don’t do direct with Verizon. They are not honest.

Bill screw up royal

Put me on COVID 19 delayed pay program which I did not request. Paid my bills on time but charged waiver amounts any way the dumb Verizon if their IT guys were smart would have seen that since I way paying my bill there is no waiver amount remember I did not request assistance been on the phone with customer service eight times still not corrected plus they also were overcharging me 10.00 per month a total screw up company as soon as I can I will drop these guys to bad they took over my account from all tel

You cannot reach out

On July 18, I called Verizon because I lost three elements, internet, phone and television service. I was kept me on hold for 70 minutes but could not get a representative to talk to me. I was forced to listen to music throughout the duration of this period. Finally, I gave up and hung up.

These guys have been wearing masks long before the pandemic .Verizon is a bunch of thieves!!!!! I was paying $126 for several years then at the beginning of this year it goes to $188!!!! What a JOKE!! I CALLED some knothead and was informed this was a new contract.A 50% increase and this guy could care less.I hate cable!!!!!!!

No service at all.

Currently, I have no phone, internet and television. I have been holding more than one hour to get a representative but to no avail. Is there a way to reach out? This is very frustrating experience. Help please. No service at all.

Closure of account

I closed my account with Verizon about August of 2019. My last two bills with them were 8/8/19 [$131.23] and 7/10/19 [$129.08]. I received an e-mail in October saying that I owed money. Since I had cancelled, I called to see what the issue was. The agent informed me that the billing was retroactive and that I owed until the end of the billing period plus fees. Using my credit card, I paid $192.24 and an additional $7 agent fee on October 22, 2019. The rep said that would be the end of my obligation. After this I received e-mail invoices stating I owed $0. I called to let them know I was still getting bills. I continued to receive the $0 balance statements for months. In June 2020, I received a collection notice from Verizon's agent saying that I owe an additional $85.95! My credit rating has dropped 150 points. I tried to sign on to Verizon to contact them online about this but since I do not have an active number with them, I was not successful. I also communicated with the collection agent and was ignored. Today I called Verizon and was told I owed the $85.95 for additional closure fees (undefined)!

Customer service FiOS

On July 5 we tried to upgrade to FiOS from DSL. They sent router and said plug and play. We need to have a technician come put a wire to the house then upgrade for new router. First appointment was July 9,2020 . They never showed up. Dispatch didn't get repair order. Called again. On July 13,2020 we had another appointment. They never showed up again. Called back July 17.2020. they claimed dispatch didn't get work order again. Third appointment July 24,2020. Not very confident they'll show up then. It's been almost 3 weeks already. Absolutely pathetic.
