Rep Processed My Order Without Me Being Ready & Incorrect Info Is Where It Was Sent

On Nov. 10th an online rep through chat was helping me with buy more get, save more promo to save with purchasing headphones. Once I found out how the deal worked I told them thank you. They them said they could help me get better deals so I said okay im intrested. They wanted to look up my account info and I said it was deactivated but I still provided them with my phone number. They asked for me to confirm my address. ( I was figuring they found my account and ithey needed me to prove my address) so I gave her a couple that it might be under. (Since I've moved a few times this year). I also provided her with my email. I also had a question about my rebate gift cards to see what the balance was. I gave them they info... I said I wanted to used to use the full amount. After that she game back with an order total and order number saying purchase was complete and I know longer reside at any of those addresses! I told her immediately that I was not done!! She gave me customer services number and I spent 3 hours that day being transferred around and put on hold. I finally ended up speaking to a gentleman who got in touch with a women who helped us send in an order cancelation ticket. I was given a ticket id number to check with the gentleman in 48 hrs to check the status &;;;;;;; to have the money put back on my verizon gift cards. I have not yet heard back from him!! In the middle of this I got an email saying I have a remaining balance of $500. If thats the rebate cards....then refund the money to the cards and take your money back!

Recent call

I had paid part of a bill last week and still owed - set up a payment arrangement for the balance which was accepted. My outgoing calls were cut off this morning. I called right away to make a payment but asked why they didn't text me something to let me know that I needed to pay by today instead of an arrangement that was set up and accepted. The guy refused to answer me - he just asked which cc i wanted to use. I wasn't being rude - I was just surprised since I had never had this happen to me before - I always pay. I asked him again why he thinks this happened, and he ignored me. Maybe they need to train their reps to be a little more connected to the customer and work with them. He was very out of touch and a bit rude. Making me think about other carriers - let's see if something like this happens in the future. Good phone service but making me think about customer service - I guess I shouldn't let one bad apple spoil it very the other reps which have always been kind and informative.

Customer Service

For years I've been trying to contact Verizon by phone. They continually increase my bill. Their automated phone system asks questions, puts you on hold, then after 20-60 minutes cuts you off. I call again and they say call during business hours when I am calling during their business hours. Last year I gave up after trying to contact them dozens of times and just paid the increase. Now they have increased my bill by more than 50% and I'd like to know why. Their customer service number is a real joke. I've been put on hold, transferred, cut off -- many wasted hours. I am sorry I ever contracted to do business with them. I am going to send a letter via postal mail and am not optimistic that I will hear from them. Verizon is an awful company.

User's recommendation: I do NOT recommend Verizon. They customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. They continually increase their charges for no reason by more than 50% this time.

Teacher's discount

Went thru their verification process and my daughter was verified as a teacher, but system would never let us apply for discount. Did not like her first name. Customer service is computer generated advise and useless. Never got to a human.

Billing

I cancelled my account (22368****-*0001) seven days into my billing cycle and received a bill for $142.15 with no explanation for the amount. Due to the fact that I switched carriers Verizon will not allow me to sign in. I've called at least a half of dozen times and no one can explain the amount of the bill. The bill is now in collection based on Verizon POOR customer service.

Poor service

I live in a community by the beach in Palm Beach county, Fl. It certainly is not in some backwoods, out of the way area. Yet I get ONE bar on my verizon phone. Verizon does not provide signal boosters for free anymore. They want me to purchase one for $150.00! I used to have straight talk through walmart for $45.00 per month. Got talked into going with verizon. Big mistake. When my contracts over I will be going back to straight talk for $45.00 Not the outrageous $150.00 I pay for one bar service through Verizon!th straight talk from walmart.

My service has been discontinued due to $400 of fraudulent spoofing calls.

Having made no 411 calls in 12 years with Fios, I was hit with $400 in 2 months. I spent 45 minutes on chat before I found out they could not access my bills. Spent 30 minutes with no one that could help me and was transferred and waited 25 minutes and no one picked up. I have paid my normal billing amount and still they discontinued my service. I have had Fios for12 years and retired from Verizon after 28 year in 2007. Somehow since then my company has become a 3rd world version of Comcast. So unless I can get this straight in 4 days, I will be a Comcast customer.

User's recommendation: Don't go there expecting any customer service. I could not even find a place to send written correspondence. They want the payment and nothing else. Sad for what has been a great company..

They lie,overcharge,worst customer service ever

This ordeal started Sat my 13 month old phone stoped charging because of my job I have to have a phone so my wife and I go to the mall she had her phone for at least two yrs so we get two new phones we were paying $214/month they told me about a military discount said they couldn't apply it in the store but a simple phone call and answer a few questions and we would be paying less a month then we were talked my wife into auto pay for more money off she said as long as she got a paper bill to keep track of things no problem. 3 hrs later get home and online find out that the first bill is $375 and there is no such thing as a simple phone call for military discount. we have been on the phone for at least 6 hrs over the last 4 days been hung up on at one point last night one of them actually took control of my computer and couldn't get to the right place to apply military discount today got a person that said no problem honey this is what I do all day after about half an hr she gave up and told me to go to a store with my DD214 I told her what they said and she said it was because we went to the mall said to go to a verified store on Ridge rd so I get my DD214 drive to the store in the vestibule I'm told no we don't do that anymore they took that away from us but YOU CAN GO ONLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been a customer for 20 years Tomorrow I start looking for another carrier life shouldn't be this hard.

No customer service

It took me and my wife almost 7 hours to get our service back on.....we had it turned off and our closing date on our home was delayed... We called customer service at least 5 times and each time we were on hold for over an hour, all we heard was a recording and NOT a soul picked up our call.........total BS and a waste of time.....we finally got service back after 7 hours of which 6 hours and 45 minutes we were on hold.....OUTRAGEOUSAngry

Trouble with locked phone

I bought a phone from a pawn shop for $800 it was black listed and Verizon told me that it wasn't there problem and they wouldn't remove the blacklist even tho I had my receipt. So I'm out $800 plus my time

Denied refund,

Payment was debited out of my account on 10/18,no auto pay was listed ,was canceling my service anyway. After launching a investigation, I was informally made known that they denied my request for refund. God forbid a multi gazillion dollar company is out 128.00

New Guide Format STINKS!!!

Verizon's new "Guide Format" is so inferior. First, you can hardly read the darned thing. There is NO date on the guide. They took away the color format for movies, sports, etc. It is the PITTS. Who needs a tiny picture of what the station is presenting when you can't even see what the friggin' picture IS!!?? GO BACK TO THE OLD FORMAT. CHANGE IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER!!!
