VERIZON ONLY CARES ABOUT SELLING PHONES

Verizon's customer service is less than a zero. They care about one thing and one thing only. SELLING PHONES and signing you up for the longest contracts to lock you in to take your money. Their customer service is less than poor. If there is a minus zero rating I would give them that. And, if you visit a Verizon store it's worse. If you go in there to just "browse" for phones, forget any customer service at all. If you say your're interested in upgrading or getting a new phone outright, they'll jump all over you. /Customer Service reps are nasty, rude, unprofessional, combative and don't care about you. Bottom line is dollars. That's all they care about. Most carriers do. Push phones, sell, sell, sell. My advise! get a Tracphone, no contract and no hassle. Phones just a good as any out there. Sheep only follow other sheep because you want the latest IPhone out there to show off. Forget that. Save money and get the best service out there. Tracphone!!!!

INCOMPETENCE

I have been waiting since April to have a landline installed. My first appointment was made in April, first availability was in December. I contacted Verizon in late November to confirm appointment. I was informed that my appointment was cancelled, with no explanation. I rescheduled my next appointment on December 1, for January 13, 2021 ( first available appointment ). On the 13th, I took off a 1/2 day to meet technician at my house ( 1-5 ). At 2:32pm i contacted Verizon to confirm appointment. After numerous transfers, I was told that a technician was not scheduled to come out, this could be done remotely, I requested to speak to a supervisor, I was transferred to Mike in New Jersey, Mike stated that the 2nd ( newest ) appointment, a technician was not scheduled. I asked why a tech was requested the first time, and not needed for the current appointment ? Mike had no response, nor any apology. No customer service what so ever !! Our next available appointment is January 16, 2021 - 8 to 5. I received a call on January 16th @ 10:00am from the dispather, requesting to have service moved to January 17, 2021. Granted, the dispatcher was very nice, and I appreciated the tech's delay, This has been a very drawn out experience, that has not been a favorable on with Verizon !!! If I had another option, I would not chose Verizon,

I've been a customer for 20+ years......no more!

I just spent over 8 hours on the phone with them this week, to add a line and change my phone. 8 HOURS! my wife had to take over to get it done, and they totally ripped her off. we are told on the phone that our new bill is $109 but on line it says $175 and when i called they assured me it was only $109 and JUST NOW on chat they said 'nope, it's $175!'. they have lost their collective minds over there! what a crap customer service company.

Resolved: Poor customer service

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with partial refund. Someone from Verizon finally called me and we came to a reasonable solution. I still think they're way over priced but that's my opinion..

Someone from the company called, after discussing the issue in depth, he offered a reasonable solution. Still not sure they deserve my business but I'm satisfied with results.

Haven't heard from anyone from that company. They only send me bills with more charges added on and I switched carries 2 months ago.

Apparently they could care less about lossing a 20 plus year customer. I recently have tried to get resolution with them again i can't get through online or phone, so I can't waste my time with this nonsense.

I've been a Verizon customer for over 20 years, but my last experience was the last straw. I had a business plan where we had 5 lines all unlimited everything, I was in store had the salesman add a line for a driver I told him same as the other lines, the bill for the first six months was higher than normal paying about $500 a month, then I got a bill for over $1000, so I called found out i had been paying overage for data on this new line every month for six months, they promised to take the $630 off the bill, next bill came, still on there, so I called again this time spent all day on hold, never got anyone on the phone, then they turned off all my phones, making it impossible to do business, that day went to T-Mobile I got five lines with free phones for around $160 a month. It's a no-brainer drop Verizon and switch.

Poor service, no resolution, overcharged

Have been a Verizon cellphone member for years and the internet service is TERRIBLE! The fees are going up AND there is still no upgrade of Verizon Fios in my area (in fact it won't be happening until 2022). Seriously considering switching to Spectrum where at least the service works most of the time AND is available in my area.

My bill keeps changing I'm so sick of Verizon

I'm not sure what to do my Verizon bill keeps changing and they're constantly charging me for something that I did not do like for instance they'll charge me for changes that they made to my account not me and then refused to take them off I'm about ready to report them to the better business bureau because I've paid over like I wanna say 5000 dollars to them since I opened my account in April of 2020 so I think that is way to much has anyone else had this problem with them I swear I'm at my whits end with them too Signed Angry with Verizdon

911 couldnt hear me I was out in my friends field all alone and dumb fell from a U-Haul truck and got hung up and tore my shoulder out of it socket and I tried to call 911 and the 911 operator couldnt hear me because I had such a *** service they couldnt ping me they couldnt find me they couldnt help me at all and I was out there all by myself

Customer Service multiple failures

In rural areas, only satellite is available. So I tried DSL a second time after about ten years. I have a digital DSL line already installed due to distance &;;;;;; line problems. The service was connected to my regular phone line, so I don't know if it works since I don't have computer equipment at those connections. Service man never showed up for appointment, still no service I can use. I begin the process of cancelling service, spending 2 days of chatting and finally getting a call back from an agent who promised to take care of things. I received my autopay invoice with full charges, no scheduled termination. I called to check on it, no termination schedule could be located. However, I received a box to return the modem so someone must have deleted the record. I pointed that out to the agent who then offered to transfer me yet again to the "cancelation dept." because you have to actually talk to someone to cancel. I refuse to go through another minute of holding for the next available agent, explaining over and over my problem. Terminated autopay first, then I will send modem back with proof of receipt request. I may have to deal with debt collectors, but I will have sufficient records from chats to show who's at fault.

DSL disconnected for no reason - 3 Months and 8+ hours of calls

Verizon is the only internet service provider in my area outside of Satellite so I signed up for DSL service which maxes out at about 5GB/s down at $100 a month. I have autopay setup and am current on all my bills. 2 Months ago, my internet suddenly stopped working and after 2 hours on the phone troubleshooting they sent a technician. He inspected the house, all was good. Went back to their "field office" and found that someone had physically disconnected the part of my service that was supposed to provide DSL. He couldn't figure out why but the only way to get it connected was to call the main office. I called 3 times, the first time, I got a woman who hung up on me when her house phone rang. Finally, talked with a person - spent 2 Hours on the phone with billing and they transfer me to technical support. 4 Hours on the phone with technical support and they can't figure it out - they put in a ticket and will call me in 3 days. No call after 3 days so I call back - 2 more hours on the phone, I finally get someone who will put in a ticket to have it turned back on. I get a service appointment for Friday by 5pm - great! Friday at 5pm, still no internet so I called again, someone from dispatch answered quick and said it would happen in the CO (central office) by 7pm. Next morning...no internet. So I called again, I explained my story which - at this point is getting really long. The first person - "Oh sorry, I only handle FIOS internet, you have to talk to another department". He tried to transfer me but it took too long waiting on hold - it's clear their time is worth more than mine - so I continue to hold on my own. 2nd department answers, I explain my story - they see the notes, they understand and connect with someone in the "Orders" department. Turns out the person 3 days ago put in a Change order but it needed to be a New order? WHAT? So he is going to connect both of us with Orders and get this figured out. I sit on hold with him for 30 minutes when suddenly I've been transferred to a different department - they have no idea why I'm here and can't connect me with the guy I was talking to. Surprisingly, when I said, "I can't handle this anymore please cancel my service", they got that done super quick. Wish it could have been that way for the last 2 Months of no service and 8+ hours of my time. Ultimately they issued a credit for the time I didn't have service but that's nothing compared to the frustration and wasted time.
