Verizon wireless a privledge?

We currently have a account with Verizon wireless for 5 phone lines, we recently placed a order for christmas for 4 netbooks, On Nov 30th we were told we needed to pay a bill of 131.00 in order for our order to go threw, we did this, we then recieved a email saying there was a credit hold and to contact them, we did this, they said that the order was set up wrong and they needed to reset it up and we were good to go, she said we should get a email letting us know it had been shipped that evening or next day, the next day we recieved nothing, that afternoon i called and they said there was 2000 people ahead of us and everything looked great with our order we should get confirmation and shipping information that night, the next morning we recieved a email saying we cancelled the order and if this was wrong to contact them, so i contacted them again, i was told this was sent to the fraud department and i needed to speak with them, so i called them and had to leave a voicemail for a return call, they returned the call and told me it was not a fraud problem that it was processed wrong they didnt link the new order to our original account, and i needed to contact cust service again and let them know this and she would add the notes to the account, so i called them back, the lady tells me that i have to pay 276.00 before they could help me cause my account has now went past due, this made me angry cause it wasnt past due when i originally placed the order, and i explained how do i know that the order will actually go threw once i pay the 276.00 dollars, and i asked to speak with a online sales supervisor, she transfered me, i was on hold for over 45 minutes and then was told not only do i have to pay the 276.00 dollars i have to pay another 276.00 dollars that isnt even due yet because it went over 30 days past due, and that is was a privledge to me for verizon to even offer me the additional 4 netbooks because i already had a account with 5 lines.

Verizon Customer Service

Last year, I made a mistake of combining Verizon phone service with their DSL high Internet access. The DSL department began to charge fees for the services that I didn't want. I called several times, spending minimum of 1 hour and going through several transfers each time I called. Finally, with a frustration, I terminated my services with them, even paying the early termination fee. A year later, I learn that Verizon reported me as a delinquent. So, I called Verizon today. Again, I spent 2 hrs, speaking to more than a dozen different reps; between transfers, my calls terminated three times. Then, when I finally reached someone who helped me, she told me that Verizon has no past records of me calling. Do not combine Verizon services to one bill. They have different billing departments and any dispute will lead to transferring calls from one department to another. DSL department is the worst. Their customer services are in overseas (I can tell that from the delay in the phone conversation and Indian accent). The customer reps in the overseas tend to hang-up the phone calls intentially.

Verizon Prepaid lost my Alltell $$

On 7/2/2009 I activated a non-contract, personally owned, cell phone with Alltel's prepaid service with total charges of $140.00 with the assurance that when Alltel and Verizon merged that my balance would transfer and that the $100 payment(the other $40 was an activation fee) for future minutes included in that amount would not expire for one year. Upon transfer of the account to Verizon no balance was transferred by Alltel, despite less than 20 minutes of time being used, according to Verizon. Alltel states that a balance was transferred and that they can no longer access my records as Verizon is now the sole holder of the account. I spent over an hour on the phone with Verizon tonight. Initially speaking with "Brandon" in the Verizon prepaid call center, who could not resolve and who offered no further assistance I requested to be transferred to a supervisor. After some time I finally spoke with a supervisor, "Porsche," in the Verizon prepaid Georgia call center in an attempt to resolve. She could not resolve my issue and told me "this is not a 'known issue,' told me there was nothing anyone could do and promptly hung up on me! Needless to say she was quite rude. So I am out $140, with no prepaid phone service despite making payment in good faith.

Verizon in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Horribly RUDE Representive & VERY SLOW to help YOU!

I got collection calls from ER Solutions regarding a Verizon Wireless bill. Verizon said I signed a 2 year contract and had an early termination fee. Totally ridiculous, but that's not the point. I spoke with a rep from ER Solutions that told me that I avoided paying bills and "am a person that makes consumers look bad".....I said are you serious, this bill is completely wrong! He continued to be little me, I finally got annoyed and hung up. Worst of all though, I sent in a letter explaining my situation. Of course, now they don't want to talk with me and say my complaint is in a long line. At first they called me everyday, since i sent a letter... they wont get back to me. Horrible company, I am actually considering going after them legally even though I will lose money in the end. I can't stand this company or its representatives!!!!! I never complain about anything, but this company is ridiculous!!!!!!

Verizon in Dallas, Texas - Caller tries to contact my adult daughter

A woman has called more than once stating that her name is "Teresa" and that she works for "IC Systems". Asks for an adult daughter, not at this address, by a name she does not use. Caller would not give reason for the call and became rude when I asked if this regarded the "Verizon problem" as they had called on this previously and I had asisted daughter in resolving this with Verizon. I have a copy of a letter from Verizon that the error was their fault and that she should receive no more. calls. I told caller not to make any more calls to this number and to limit any future correspondence to letters only for a written "trail". I own this residence, am disabled, and it is hard for me to get to the phone for unscheduled calls only to find an "***" like this Teresa, if that is inded her name, on the other end.

Verizon in Dallas, Texas - Horrible DVR and support

The FIOS DVR is terrible. It often screws up and now thinks it's full with only 3 hours recorded. I called their support who basically refused to help me and telling me it could be a phone, internet, or video problem. How *** do they think I am! Oh yea, my phone service told my DVR to think it's full. Of course it didn't help that after waiting for ever, I got someone in India. He was a very polite person who obviously knew nothing about technology other than what he read off a cue card or computer screen. Verizon doesn't care or they would have deliver such a poor quality DVR to start with. After having a TIVO unit I was clearly spoiled. The FIOS DVR cannot have gone through any quality control testing. And their support is manned by people that know nothing about the products at all. I'll be canceling all 3 FIOS services tomorrow.

Verizon rip off fraud

I will have to do research to get closer dates and so on, but about 6 months ago i signed up with verizon for internet and phone service in a plan where i was to get a $150 reward card in a few months. This was to offset the costs i was paying from another company, so the verizon deal was better in the long run. They agents purposely did not tell me they had a lower cost ineternet plan. I found out about it and called verizon and asked about it. They switched me to a slower internet and said my getting the rewards card woudl be moved back a month or so since they had reset the plan and that i would be paying about $50.00 per month on phone and internet. Every month the bill was $75.00. So i called to see why. All i got was run around and misinformation. I was lied to and never told the truth about my billing or contract. Then i asked about the rewards card again after considering lowering to another plan. They siad nothing about me not getting a rewards card. Time after time none of teh many agents i talked to ever told me the rewards card was coming because i had lowered my servce plan. But my monthly bill still was $75.00 as if nothing had been lowered. Their agents just keep playing dumb and hiding the facts. So now they tell me i will pay a $120 canceling fee if i cancel the service which seems to never pay the rewards they promised me and never lowers my bill. They lie and misrepresent the truth to string people along. Verizon is a crooked outfit. So they have had me paying this higher than need be plan all these months while i am thinking i will get the reward credit card of $150 to offset the cost of keeping the plan, now they say, no card and oh, you will have to pay a fee if you try to get out of the plan. They say that since i lowerd the ineternet service, i do get the rewards card of $150, but since i want to go with the lowest monthly service i can, they say oh but you wont be in the plan then, so you get a penalty of $120. Well, if i am in a plan, give me the rewards card, if im not then quit charging me $75 per month. How can i get a penalty for dropping out of a plan that i was never in?

Verizon phone service lies and rip off fraud

for 6 months verizon has lied to me about a plan i had with them where they said i would get $150 refund credit card. Then i find out they mislead me into buying a higher priced internet service. I lowered it to the slowest speed but the bill never went down. I complained and now they say no reward card will be given and i have to pay a $120 fee for canceling. They lied all the time and never were honest about the service. I could go into more detail, but verizon is crooked. Do not trust verizon, they will lie cheat and steal. I will have to do research to get closer dates and so on, but about 6 months ago i signed up with verizon for internet and phone service in a plan where i was to get a $150 reward card in a few months.
