Verizon in Portland, Oregon - STEAMED,REAMED, LIED TO & ABUSED

Howdy Consumers, I am the business manager for a non-profit organization (40 years in the community, non-political, highly regarded). We have 6 cell phone lines and one data line with VERIZON. They have lied, been incompetent at every level of service and completely unable to give an accurate bill. They have wasted dozens of hours of of our time, cut our service without reason 4 times this month. What a bunch of *** This is why our country is in trouble, a lack of honor and focus only on the fast buck, no tomorrow! Dont give these people money!

Verizon Strike Hurts Customers by walking out on Contract!

I recently became unemployed and disabiled. I was a long term Verion everything customer. My wife had to take over my bills including all my verizon accounts.Instead of simply switching her name for billing from mine, Verizon made us close all my accounts and shut off our Phone / Internet/ TV / and wireless cell phones. The said we would only be down during the day that they had to send a tech in to reinstall our Fios system which was working fine. They also made us purchase a new contract at a higher price than our previous services.Well they were able to remotely turn everything off and then because they went on strike did not show up to turn it back on. I am without any contact to the outside world being held hostage by verizon strikers. My fire alarm, burgaler alarm, Phone are all out. I cannot call the police, fire department, ambulance doctor etc. Verizon tells me that They cannot turn on my services without a landline Tech doing it even though they were able to turn it off while they were on strike.I have spent 3 days on the phone (at a neighbors)and internet trying to get them to remotely turn on my services. All I have gotten was a complete runaround with many lies from customer support. The bottom line is that the strikers should not be able to walk out on an installation that was contracted before the strike. They should be fired and Verizon should send a subcontractor in to finish their outstanding orders.Phone service should not be considered entertainment and is a fital necssity. It should be government regulated as a utility. I am more than pissed I want their heads. Fire their *** and get the consumers a union to protect us!

Verizon minutes mistake

Today i got my bill from verizon and was overcharged $130 because i supposedly went over on minutes when in fact i know i didn't because all numbers i called within the billing cycle where to verizon numbers!! I don't have a voice mailbox because i know that verizon will try to spam my mailbox and then try to charge me with those messages that i would forcibly have to listen to before getting to my actual "real" messages!! I called customer service but they just blatantly said that they do not make mistakes!!! I will definitely be filling a complaint everywhere i can!!! As soon as my contract ends I'm getting MetroPCS!!!!!!!!

Verizon in Dallas, Texas - Unused Texts and Still Charged.

I bought line at Verizon, I brought my own phone, IPhone 4, even though I thought it was too much; I still paid the full amount. I waited for the 650 text messages that my son was going to use for next month I never received the texts. So I called customer service, they told me I used all my text in one day, I know for a fact my son didn't use all those texts so I cancelled the plan. Few days later the line was still on so I went to the store to cancel in person, an employee at the store told me the couldn't cancel until one moth later. I do not wish to continue any service of the sort with Verizon, yet i must maintain the line for a month? This doesn't make any sense. I paid to avoid any problems with my credit, also why I didn't make a contract.

Verizon in Baltimore, Maryland - The program on the TV is totally different from what's on the schedule. WTF is going on?

The program on TV is not what's shown on the schedule. This is not the first time. What's going on? The program on the TV is not what's shown on the schedule. This is not the first time this has happened. Why is the customer the last to be informed about these changes? It is NOT a customer-friendly policy. Bad Verizon FIOS Internet Service

I am a Software Engineer and internet is very essential for me because I work remotely sometimes over internet. While I signed the contract with Verizon for a year I committed I will pay the bill in time and Verizon committed that they will provide me the service every hour.I can understand if there is a problem for a day or two.But here is my story : 1) Don't have internet for last 35 days 2) 19 Verizon technicians have visited my apartment( 20 hours of my time) 3) 15 tickets has been raised. Each call takes 1 hour of my time. Therefore 15 hours of my time. 4) FIOS Device has been replaced 2 times. 5) Router has been replaced once. 6) Fiber optics has been replaced 3 times. Still I have no internet and at least 3 out of the15 tickets have been closed without confirming with me.

Just found this site and I'm writing this to tell you of my experience with Verizon Wireless back in late May, 2011 - so that others don't fall into the same situation if you need to use the "warranty". Although their prices are quite high, my dissatisfaction relates...

These are not Verizon's devices. Verizon/AT&T and other wireless companies process warranty claims as a courtesy to the phone manufacturers. It is by their policies that p...

I had an account with Verizon for my Internet/landline services. My cable TV provider was Direct TV. After Verizon repeatedly solicited me to bundle my account by adding FIOS TV, I agreed to switch over. As part of the new contract, I was promised a $200 Rewards card...

Verizon overlooks slamming customers

I am a former residential sales and service consultant. Although I would not be part of the slamming Verizon rewards its employees for I can tell you it used to go on. What I saw was that the high sales achieves were very clever at getting customers to take services they did not need. These high sales achieves made their managers numbers look good so the managers spent their time harassing the low sales achievers who were trying to provide excellent service but did not help the managers sales numbers. I could go into more detail if anyone is interested

Verizon in Van Buren, Ohio - Does not stand behind products

I have been a customer of Verizon Wireless for 10 years. I purchased a broadband from them two months ago and the cord is already broken. I went back to the store of purchase and asked them to switch out the cord. The supervisor, Chris, refused stating it was damaged. The broadband has barely been used. I have a 2-year-old cell phone and it looks brand new, never been dropped. I take good care of my equipment. The supervisor offered me 50% off a new cord. I was shocked that a good customer like me would not be offered a replacement of an item that was clearly defective. I left the store and called customer service, same treatment. Asked to speak with a manager, who was very rude. I asked to speak with his supervisor and was told it would be 72 business hours for a call back. He would not give the name or extension of the person to call me back, and stated that the offer of 50% off the replacement might not be there when the manager called back. When the manager did call back, I stated I was dissatisfied and I just wanted a new cord. He said he would not do that, I'd already been offered 50% off, and that fine I should just hang up on him. I have never been treated that way as a customer. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years using their service. I will be switching providers as my contract for my cell plans is up. Verizon - NO LONGER working for me!
