Continual billing after disconnecting service

I discontinued service with Verizon in Feb 2021. They have confirmed that they owe me $42.00. Today I received a bill from them for $120.00 in unpaid balance.

User's recommendation: Verizon has less than stellar customer service and accounting practices.

Paid bill & service sucks

Paid bill early, told me I was given 6 extra GB, phone STILL won't pick up internet, apps lagging, etc...called Customer service, was told they were closed...saying I have no GB left &;;;;;;;; that I have $40 toward my services...duh!!! I paid my bill...can't login to my account to reset my password because it says I'm locked out. Just aggravated with the whole experience...

Bill issue

Crumby!!!! I tried everything and have a bill from them that was for my mother in New York. I put in all the data correctly and double triple quadruple checked it and it would not except the numbers that they themselves gave me! I was unable to have a chat online because I was required to login using the correct numbers and what they gave me were wrong! I spent an hour trying to do this and finally gave up and wrote a whole letter about what had happened, they are incorrect billing, and sent them a damn check

Horrible customer service

Not a good day. To me, I do not give a damn that people can go and get 50 different jobs because some people have become addicted to sitting their butt on the couch. You work and you help. Today, I walked into the Verizon store in Avon and I was not greeted when I entered. One employee was being helped, the other, a gentleman with glasses, did not look up but it was evident that I was in the store. Actually, it was the third time that I have been in this store in 6 months, and this is standard operating procedure. An employee coming off of break helped me, I explained that I wanted a new phone and it was obvious that I was looking at a couple of models. I asked some questions, they were answered. The sticking point was that I need help transferring info onto my new phone. Long story short, he told me that they could not do it, because they "might get busy." Hmm, one new customer came in...three reps...ok. I stated that I could sit out of the way, downloading info and if I needed help, I could wait. So, there is a customer-willing to pay money, probably can be upsold into a 800-900 dollar phone, get a case...not bad for having a blob in a corner. I explained that I needed the phone this weekend, mine was pretty cracked up. He offered me to go to Best Buy. Hmm...ok...I asked about Apple...etc. then thanked him. I stayed in the store for another 10 minutes, meanwhile I hear another rep who is working with another customer tell her that she can pick up what she needs at another store...you don't send items between stores? Offer much? Meanwhile, I was looking at cases and the iPad caught me eye. No other customer came in while I was looking at several different items, which if I was the sales person and if commission is involved, my *** is assisting the customer. Went out to my car for 10 minutes, no new customers. I went back in with the three amigos sitting on their butts (no customers) and asked if they had an appointment open for today- nope- booked I asked how about in August-they don't do weekends...yup I can see why - damn crowded. I left angry and called customer service(very nice lady) who set an appointment up for next Saturday- no problem in Farmington. At no time was I offered this. If someone had said, "hey let me check our sister store for you..."awesome. I entered another business, sales person greeted me, help me find a product, then suggested something else. I told an employee about my experience and she whispered "oh yes, they aren't too nice." Brilliant. Bloody Brilliant. That is pretty high on the suck meter if people who work in your geographical area know that you are not "nice." I am not a Karen, seriously, I want to be treated as I treat others. I thank God that these people do not work for me, I would not know where to start.

To change from prepaid to postpaid

I can't make no calls an nobody can call me .I don't if you all can help or not .Thanks very much.I would like to try it . Cause I like the price of it.

I show 5 bars but it has no service.

Never got thru to a person to help resolve issue. So really pissed consumer. They are great to sell but service other than what they can do at the store not as good.

Incompetent customer service

I have had the same issue over 2 weeks and no one can fix it and I have not been allowed to speak with a supervisor. That request was refused to speak with a supervisor. I have been placed on hold until the office closes, I have been hung up on, and I have been given wrong information AND transferred to wrong departments AND with the exception of one representative most have been discourteous. I have asked for a callback by a supervisor. This didnt happen! This is not acceptable!!!!

User's recommendation: Contact them at your own risks. Maybe they are all new and haven’t been trained yet.

They Suck

Their website is difficult to get into. They only offer a very limited selection of help topics in their automated chat session and talking to a human is not likely. That and they charge too much. I am going to change carriers.

Verizon offers a steep discount for autopay enrollment. I have resisted this because of their shady billing practices, but I finally gave in because I needed the discount. I tried to set it up on the date I needed it to hit, but it only gave me five days as an option....

I need my appointment moved up from Wednesday at nine because it’s at the Saltaire Yacht Club our phone lines and Internet is down and I sprinkler system is hooked up to that service

I need to talk to some one on the phone We have an appointment for Wednesday at 9 o'clock but the system is connected

They don't respond when need help.

I haven't got response to first question.. I only want my phone unlocked. I am about to lose sim card for non use which I hold you responsible for. Will you replace. Need code¿??????¿??¿?????????

Still have not received the info to change my password. That was the purpose of my call. This whole Verizon experience is extremely frustrating!

Customer service sucks

Changed from consumer cellular to Verizon in the belief that I would save money. As it turns out, the gigabytes I used was more than I used with my prior provider for the same service. It was cheaper for talk, but thats all. Trying to go back to my prior provider, took me over 6 hours to be on the phone with both companies. Even my old companys representative couldnt believe what I was going through. Customer service for Verizon is terrible.
