BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

After 12 years with verizon, internet ,phone and tv, I called when my internet went down twice this month, treated like ***, looking for another company! Review

Same exact thing happened to us! We returned our equipment in 2010 and a few months later received a bill for the equipment .. We have argued and pleaded and spoken to everyone possible at verizon and no one will listen! The account is now in collections it's ruining our credit and we can't honorably pay a debt that doesn't belong to us! This is consumer fraud. The only thing left now is to go to consumer affairs and perhaps contact some type of media outlet! For the record we handed our package directly to our neighborhood ups driver.

Double billing

They sent a collection agency on me for $64 dollars after a year, for their mistake. when they saw a gap in payment from a prepaid to post paid plan some dim-whit charged that transition month to the old, closed account months after the switch. I Didn't find out about it until almost a year after the switch. Now i am pissed for the wasted time on the phone with not one person but 4 or their reps. They couldn't figure the problem so i had to figure it out for them and explain it to them several times. I am angry about the wast of my time. I want to send them a bill for my lost weekend and mental frustration.

Still waiting for them to show up

8/15/14 verizon said between 11 and2 a technician will show. He leaves a message at 12 that I am second in line. I give up at 4:00 and go out. I get a call at 6:00 saying that he came a little late and I was not the. I ask what time and she says 5:45!yeah just a little late! Now TODAY I get the same message: it is 8:15 you are second on list, see you at 10. It's almost 12, not here yet. What a joke! And this is after 3 calls to get someone here. They suck. They want you to change the cable box, diagnose the problem.

Bait and Switch

This is the letter I sent to the CEO detailing the problems. Mr. McAdams, I currently live in Virginia and have had Fios for the last two years. Our plan was up and I called on the 18th of June and talked to a gentleman named Joshua. I explained to him that Comcast offered a Triple Play plan for $84 and that I am a disabled Veteran on Social Security. He said that he was taking me off of recording and that I could put the account in my name vice my wife’s and he could give me a special rate of $74. Along with everything it would be a total of $119. I told him I wanted to keep the HD Prime and the internet 15/5 that I currently had. He said no problem and the phone equipment would not need a technician and it would come in the mail within a week. I asked him specifically several time how to hook it up, he stated just plug it into the phone jack and you will have your in house phone service. On the 19th my wife told me that we were missing channels and so I called Verizon again the women told me that to get those channels because the Prim HD package was discontinued it would cost another $10. I said ok and she quoted me a bill of $133. I went on the computer and checked to see when my phone would come in and found out that I did not have triple play but double play. I called and requested to speak with a supervisor because I feel Verizon misrepresented themselves. I spoke with Marcus the Account Manager and he said sorry and the triple pay would cost $150 something. I explained to him that I could not afford that and told him that Joshua was asked 4 times and told me 4 time that the phone system would come in the mail and just to plug it in. He stated again that he was sorry but this is what I need to pay to get a phone. I requested to talk to someone above him but he said there was no one above him but I could go to a web site to complain about the service. I informed him that there is always someone above him in management but he said that he was it and no one else could be talked to on the phone. This is unacceptable service, as I explained to Marcus, I spent 17 years in the United States Marine Corps and 20 years in Las Vegas in the gaming industry and this is how Verizon treats it customers. He stated again that if I wanted to complain to go to the web site and the cost was still $150 something and no one above him could override it. He then explained that when Joshua said he was taking me off of recording that he has no controls for that and it is random and would be unable to verify what I was told. I don’t know what to say but could you please respond with some assistance.

MY BILL INCREASED BY 30%

I have had Verizon for the past 5 or so years. At the beginning of this year, I realized that my bill went up to approx $150 a month. I called Verizon and I got a representative that told me that there was nothing they could do to reduce this bill. I had said that I would cancel my service etc to no avail. They told me that I could renew contract at a lower amount. This lower amount was still more than my orig $109. plus tax. After I hung up, I realized that I needed my computer etc and decided to get up to date with all my billing and called back again. Again I was told that there was nothing they could do and again it was still a higher fee. I called again about a week later and got a man who said that they could not lower to orig amt but that he could reduce it to $104. plus tax. I asked him over and over "with tax and EVDERYTHING" no "HIDDEN FEES" he said no. Today I review my bill and it is $144. Again I spoke to a rep and a supervisor and got the same attitude of not caring whether or not I continue with Verizon or not. This should be a concern to anyone that works for Verizon because an unsatisfied customer is potentially a non customer to the amount of at least $1300 a year. I look forward to hearing from you. When gas prices go up, do you stop buying gas? It's called inflation, and it happens At the same time everywhere, and I highly doubt your number are accurate, either that or your first bills had a promotional rate that you neglected attention towards. Also, those free movie channels don't fall off the account in their own.

You must work for verizon. There is no need to be nasty to customers and they were very nasty to me.

I recently was forced to retire and called to see if they could reduce my bill.

No dice. Plus if I canc el an early termination fee would apply.

Verizon - Service Charges Review

I have had serivce with verizon for over 6 yrs and they just charged me 100$ Alone on texting trying tell me I don't have night weekends on mine cell plan .if I didn't have texting after 9 just talk I been paying over 100 every month .i so sick tired of all these company's thinking just because you sign peice paper they can srew you around when ever they want to .and think they can take you court over some bs charges they made up as they go along .sick all these company like this and getting away with it they all need be sued.

Poor Customer Service Review

I has nothing but problems with Verizon and their customer service and dropping calls. Then I called TriStar CSM 804-385-**** paid them 50.00 to handle my complaint and they got me 300.00 off my bill, free early upgrades to S5s on all 5 of my lines. They handled Verizon.

Verizon - Phone Service Review

I signed up for Verizon a few months ago, I did check the coverage area ( I mean,hey there are 2 Verizon stores in this small town) so, we signed up 3 lines ,data phones,etc...The past few weeks , I get no reception in my house ,I drop calls daily, the phone won't ring,but all of a sudden,there will be a VM. I called Verizon numerous times, to be told I need to buy Internal Tower signal booster for in my house, That's 300-400.00 extra!!!! They said they do not guarantee service in the house! Although, I live in very populated area....I'm so angry.

Battery Back-up and Remote Control

The battery back-up on our phone service died and Verizon refused to replace it even though it is their own equipment. The Customer Service rep was very condescending and insisted that it is our issue to resolve. I asked if they provide a credit for unused service during power interruption and they said NO WAY. On the remote control, she again insisted that is it our issue and we fork over $15. This nickel and diming and overall poor customer service is what makes people switch back to cable. Terrible Verizon. Cannot wait until competition comes and straighten you out!!

Changed Plan Review

Talked to a rep four days ago and she said she had changed my plan from $50.00 to 45.00 and if i can pay $10.00 in a couple of days . i wouldnt lose any mintues .well im about to change services. this is getting out of hand.It seems like you want to take peoples money when they can only afford what they can.and i am in that situation .
