I bought a new Apple 4 about 6 months ago and have been having problems with the battery for about 4 of those months". I kept going back to the Verizon store and they would adjust something and then say come back if it didin't work/. Well I finally had it and last week I said, I want a replacement?. I do have insurance on the phone/. Well they sent me a "reconditioned" phone with a crack across the screen.. I paid good money for a new phone and had problems with it after the first months and they don't stand behind their products;. My husband just bought an I phone 4S from them and we are returning it and going to AT&T". Verizon really sucks.. I bought a new phone that is defective and I deserve a new phone. Period. 1297351

even apple would replace your iPhone with a refurbished unit. same for iPod and iPad. that's to be expected with pretty much all electronics companies i've ever dealt with. i've had verizon replace phones for me and i didn't have any issue with any replacements. it's unlikely they sent physically broken replacement units, but i'm sure it's possible just as anything else.

I believe the recondition of phones are a great idea because not everyone can afford a new phone this days so for us is a blessing thank you

I agree with you, my iphone4 freezes up sometimes, we paid good money for a brand new iPhone 6months ago,and they sent us a recondition iPhone4, I paid for a brand new iPhone, I should get a brand new iPhone back, that's bull..., I don't know if other phone companies do the same.
